I'm really, really Liking this pack, dustyshouri. This may have just convinced me to dump the Painterly pack, and give the 32x32 textures a try.

As a minor nitpick: the fact that the raw rock is brownish compared to the cobble kinda bothers me.
I think I might mod it myself so that the stone/cobblestone is more grey, as the brown feels too much like dirt, although it looks awesome, especially how ore fits in
Sorry for the misunderstanding then. I think I misread what you quoted.
Back ontopic: I am really digging these textures so far! I hope you know what you're going to do with the red-stone because I don't normally picture it as big circles, but it will probably end up great.
The diamond looks a bit too close in color to iron, in my opinion. Might be better to make it glitter more, or add some blue? Possibly a little brighter? The shapes are certainly different.

I don't know if i like it or not still on the fence on this one. On one hand it looks cool with the ore but with all the small stones on everything it..i don't know. Just looks to busy maybe? Still its good work and will be checking back to see when your done.

Indeed, I noticed the problem last night. The problem is that the diamond is already quite blue, and the iron is nearly solid gray, and in fact nearly blends in with the rock. I didn't want to have the diamond or iron washed out by lowering contrast/upping brightness, but it looks like I might have to go that direction as color isn't doing its job. Blue and gray are just too similar, and I don't think the low-light setting of the caves are helping. I've ramped the brightness up on the diamonds a lot here, but it's like you can hardly tell in-game:

How to download it?
Or is a download link deleted?
I haven't yet provided a download link since it's incomplete, but you can download the various texture images I've been posting and mod the minecraft.jar yourself with it.
I think the grass color is really bad. I suggest something darker and less vibrant.
NO!!! Please do NOT make it less vibrant. I love other the design of texture packs like Doku's but I HATE that it is so dull. It feels like I'm in England when I play it (you know, dark, dull, grey-brown, hideous). I like the actual style of it, but the colours are just so depressing. As you noted, dusty, it's also quite hard to tell what is what when the textures are so dark and dull.
This pack looks amazing so far. It's so wonderfully detailed; it feels very clean, but in a good, cartoony kind of way. But it still doesn't seem all that cartoony, which I like.
The only problem I have with it is that the iron bits of the iron are too silvery in colour. Iron ore usually has quite a lot of iron in the form of iron (III) oxide, which looks like rust. Maybe make the edges of the iron chunks a little rusty coloured. Maybe I'm just being nit-picky though. Also, I think the tree trunk and section could use a little more contrast.
I may have to ditch the item pack and stick to the original resolution as it doesn't render higher resolution into 3D objects very well. The bow in particular is having a rough time.
These are good! but really, the Grass (only the grass not the dirt) is kind of ugly. the bright pallets look good though. and the water is just amazing! Keep up the good work.
The person I quoted was talking about hue, since he mentioned the blue in the grass.
I kind of cheaped out on the iron, being just a recolor of gold... but I doubt it'll be noticed in-game! :tongue.gif:
