Items.png does contain modified armor, but the actual armor is not modified. Could you add an armor file to your pack so that the armor my character is wearing actually looks like the armor that's in items.png?
I just wanted to let you know we are hosting your pack on your site and absolutely love the textures you used in this.. Makes the Minecraft world feel darker and less cartoony feeling like the default. Can't wait to see where this goes.. especially with the armor.
I liked your seasons so much, I wrote a little program to run every time I start minecraft, which will update the seasons on a 12 day rotating basis (today = june, tomorrow = july, etc.). And I thought I'd share: https://sourceforge.net/projects/quandaryrotator/
It's extremely amateur, just something for me to play with, and I thought others might enjoy. Check the readme for how to get it to work. Let me know if there's already something better out there, and I'll remove this post. Otherwise, enjoy!
Im a little confused.. I dont want the month to change that quickly so can I make it change every 3 days? If so how?
Hey, having some issues installing the texture pack. I run the mod installer with one of the months selected (tried a few) and it says it installs. I start up MC and nothing has changed. Is there a specific folder I have to have all this saved in? The backups are saving in the right folder so I am not sure what is going on.
I am leery of using winRAR, I have had it corrupt gamesaves in games like this before, but if I can't get it to work I will try to do it manually.
The texture packs need to go into the "bin" folder. Then you run the game through a shortcut to the Texture Rotator program, not the usually Minecraft.exe (assuming you're on a PC.)
Thanks, I get how this is supposed to work now. I found the readme when I unpacked everthing, I feel a bit stupid about that last post now.
Still having a few issues. The shortcut runs MC, but doesn't appear to add the texture pack I have my target line set to
"C:\Users\My Name\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\bin\Minecraft Texture Rotator.jar" and
Ok, figured out what was wrong. When I unpacked the texture pack I had my folder structured in my bin to ...Quandary_August_26\Quandary_August. As soon as I pulled the Quandary_August folder into the bin it all worked fine. Hopefully this helps someone else who runs into the same problem.
