Result: Minecraft becomes so real I can no longer distinguish between real world and Minecraft world. It starts out innocently with Minecraft themed jack-o-lanterns, but ends with my arrest after I assault a cow with a handcrafted wooden sword.
This is why you must not. Also because it's just way too much work.
Steeb. (or anyone who can help me) Your texture changer doesnt seem to work for me. When ever I run the jar file (the shortcut and the original both) it deletes everthing from my minecraft.jar file except for the textures it installs. All class files and stuff are deleted which causes minecraft not to start. Its Extremely annoying! Also the shortcut I made never seems to open minecraft.exe and I made sure I added it to the target thing.
Seeing how the biomes are not as big as we imaged they'd be and how tree leaves and grass changes colors with each biome, making a separate pack for each biome doesn't seem like that good of an idea anymore
Nice pack man. I have one suggestion though.
Can you make the cobblestone more defined?
My castle looks less castley since I installed your textures.
Anyways good job.

Cobblestone will be getting a slight change to do just that in 2.7+ :smile.gif:
To all Quandary Texture Rotator users: I suggest you stop using the rotator for now.
Once there are fixes out for whichever texture packs you are using, you can update your month folders with those textures and resume use. This is going to be the case any time a patch adds new items/blocks with new textures. If you don't want to wait for a texture pack's update, you can update your own textures manually by copying the added textures over to your modded textures. If that sounds complicated, just wait for an update.
If I'm wrong on this, please correct me ExtraNoise. I am excited at the opportunity for Quandary-ified biomes.

Steeb...
Reading this before I go to bed. I'll PM you tomorrow. I am not familiar with your problem, but I'll have a think...
Having spent some time in the Nether, mostly digging, I'd like to suggest a less cobble-y red cobblestone texture. The original textures have too much pattern for what's the primary material of the dimension. I'd almost go as far as suggesting that it be red smoothstone.

Still working on getting everything ready for a new major release to take advantage of the update's changes to grass and trees. Here's what I've got now (as in available), but plan on "fixing" soon:

Alright, Quandary 3.0 is out! Huzzah!
It now completely works with the new update, has support for biomes (to an extent) and has a bunch of small graphic upgrades to various textures and makes fixes based on community feedback (thanks doods).
If there is any possible way if you have the time do you think you could make obsidian tools/armor/ingot for the obsidian tools mod that would be nice, and i like the style of your texture pack.
you don't have to make the obnoxious unreal tools the povel or paxel or whatever because i have already requested on the thread to see if he could make one with normal stuff to stay true to original minecraft.
*edited to also request well ask if you could do chainmail sprites as well for the mod that enables you to make chainmail armor.
So far i really like everything in your pack except clay . IMO, pinkish clay is weird ...
essentially, the only 2 packs i use are frenden and yours . am still waiting for dusty's items . they look promising and i want to try them .

Here are a bunch of images I liked (there were a lot more, but meh) in random order:
I love you.
