Really cool texture pack. The fire-texture-on-brick glitch is the only problem I see; everything else is win. And it's a bit easier to differentiate between snow and wool blocks now. Definitely one of the best "make Minecraft more realistic" texture packs. Now if Notch would just make hi-res reskinning easier...

I would like to see a 256x256 version of this texture pack to bring back the animated water and lava, and fix the fire in the gold / brick blocks.
Sure, it won't look as good, but it'll still look good.
EDIT:
I realize the poster above me had done this, but it's in one file, and I don't understand how I could use that when I had to update individual files with the original texture pack.

After putting in the Brown & Bloom files, go back into your minecraft.jar (using winrar) and replace the terrain.png with the above posters terrain.png. It's that simple.
Thought that i might as well do a little update since the thread almost constantly gets a bump on the frontpage anyway :smile.gif:
The necessity of color changes is arguable and i feel like I'm more and more taking away everything that even slightly distinguished my texture pack among thousands of other realistic texture packs, but i felt like those changes had to be done sooner or later.

I love your texture pack. Even with 256x256 pixels, it looks great. I will continue to use it, and I like the whole color scheme.
Very, very nice Texture pack, to the point of when I had to download the new Launcher I re-downloaded the pack. Absolutely great. I'd be interested to see if you do anything with the mobs, paintings, or the assorted items.
Something seems different since the update, I don't know if the textures were changed but there seems to be less brown... Here's a screenshot, I apologize for the large image size
Cobblestone also appears to be half way between the default and half this texture pack, and another screenshot.
I'm not sure if it's just my eyesight or something with the update, hopeful this helps either way

I fixed them though.

I really like it, but I use bricks. And i Like animated Lava and Water.
So This version is the same resolution as the default, however it has no bugs or errors.
I combined this with a few others things, and still have the better looking Sun and moon and some cool art.
But I will just post the terrain file for you guys.
Sure, it won't look as good, but it'll still look good.

Even if you copy the files back over again into the jar file? That should work....
