Dude, great job on the pack. It's nice cause I usually don't use texture packs, but this one's special. If you wouldn't mind, I would like to make a couple suggestions starting with the ore blocks. The ore itself looks awesome, but the block is a bit to light in compared to the original ores that shared the stone making it blend in. And second, maybe change the color of "redstone" (I know, it's stupid)cause rubys and redstone look similar (I often get confused). Other than that, everything else looks awesome. Sorry to seem so picky. Lookin forward for more updates!

I kinda agree with everything you stated but the only problem is the even if he changes the color of redstone the little particles they give off will remain red. I personally wouldn't be bothered by this but maybe others will.
There is an issue with the stone sword currently, in that it looks like there is a floating pixel following it as you swing it. I examined the item.png but couldn't find the problem.

EDIT: Btw, could you add some preview images to OP? It would have been nice to see how the pack looked like ingame before downloading (Glad I decided to download after all though) :smile.gif:
Yeah, I've talked about doing that, but I'm really lazy.
I had pictures up once, but they're outdated now.
EDIT:
Starting the laborious process of taking screenshots using Zachariasmith's texture idea.
The only bad part is having to update them whenever I make a major change.
EDIT2:
I've completely forgotten to talk about the red particles put off by redstone. I'm fine with them being red while the stone itself is purple. It actually looks kind of cool.
EDIT3:
Small update.
Fixed the ruby shovel pixel error. (The gold shovel pixels bled over.)
Changed leaves a bit.
Made the hud clear. (Just testing this out. It looked awesome to me.)
Some other crap I forgot about.
I've been browsing this section of the forum for a while now, and have wanted some new textures, though the problem with most of them for me, is that they don't seem to have that same vanilla feel, though, you have accomplished it with this. It looks much, much nicer than vanilla.

I totally agree. Even though they're low resolution textures (and there's nothing wrong with that especially thanks to the animation bug) the feel of them is just perfect. These are the only textures I use now and have been for a while.
Sorry for not updating folks; during the week I work far too often to use my computer.
Thanks for all of the awesome comments! I really wanted to keep the vanilla feel by making in an alternate pack instead of a revision, and I realized revisions were only for novelty. I could never really use one more than a day or so. But, with something like this, it's really what I wanted to use in place of the default.
It's ok, you are still a hero amongst mere minecraft mortals :smile.gif:.
Redoing the iron sword yet again. It looks too much like stone.
EDIT:
Okay, finished that.
Also edited some other weapons, bamboo, and arrows to be correctly black-tipped.

I'll work on default stone colors and redstone here soon.
EDIT:
Changed redstone to deepstone.
No longer is it red, but now a dark purple.
I'll upload it later.
EDIT:
And changed the diamond armor pants gem. That was dumb looking.
Changed the gem to match the diamond sword. (Green)

Originally they were swung like swords, then I changed them to 'dig'.
Still looks normal. I'll test it ingame in a second.
Thanks a lot.

Outstanding job.
Guess fences and whatever need new skins, I dunno. Still love this pack.
Nope!
Fences use the wood texture so no updating necessary for any packs.
I've been gone a while.

I'll update as Notch does, I promise!
You should have Minecraft.jar. If you don't, then you might need to download it.
