Make sure that the TARDIS.txt file is in the same folder as 1.12 to 1.13 Command Converter.bat, and the Thirteen.txt file will be created in the same directory (the output file does not have to exist for it to write to an output). After that, you have a few < and > symbols in your commands. I specifically state in the Instructions.txt that those symbols cause issues with batch. I replaced them with other characters for the sake of conversion, and I replaced them back when I was done (I used ctrl+H in Notepad++ so it went very smoothly).
I did, of course, find more bugs in the Command Converter itself in the process. After the recent additions of Input Mode Options (1.3.0), I inadvertently made it so that it could no longer process long lists of commands properly. This has all been corrected.
For the input, I used the commands that you specified (with the < and > symbols being replaced with other characters, and then put back to normal afterward). Here is the output:

I have not tested this in-game as it seems to be a bit tricky to actually implement. Mostly because it uses custom playsound events, and it seems to be for a function (which is why the Command Converter removes the / at the start).
All of this was done with the latest version,1.3.2.

I have released the version 1.3.3. It literally only adds 2 commands into each of the programs. It fixes that little detail with the ench tag using s's after the id. e.g. ench:[{id:16s,lvl:5s}]
I should note for future bug fixes that I do not program stuff on Saturdays. Figured I would put that out there in case someone was wondering why I take a while to fix simple every now and then. It is because I don't code on Saturdays.
I had a few ideas for the 1.4.0 version if anyone were to request them:
I have the Lite and Normal version for 10 and 100 commands respectively. I was thinking of adding 1.12 to 1.13 Command Converter Mega for converting up to 1000 commands at once. It would be impractical for most uses, but I think it would come in handy for those with very very large lists of commands that they are willing to wait for the conversion to complete.
The other idea was adding a fourth and maybe even a fifth sub-level. I am unsure if this should be added as I have not yet encountered a command that goes down this many levels.

It is a very good idea to have created this software.
However as soon as I drop the .txt file with the commands 1.12, when I press on "Enter" the software closes directly. Whether it is the Lite version or not.
I use the latest version 1.3.4 so I do not understand, I use windows 10.

I believe it has to do with a misfiring of the program, by that I mean that it was not used correctly. I have included screen shots that show the steps of converting your average simple commands.
If this does not help, could you explain/take screen shots of the steps that you take when you tried to use the Command Converter?

Hey, I am trying to convert this command to 1.13 but it doesn't do anything at all, here is the command
I have released the version 1.4.0; it includes all of the things that were voted for, along with some bug fixes.
I noticed a lot of issues with the command that you gave me, I understand that you yourself didn't write it, but I shall explain the issues nonetheless...
The reason why it wasn't going through was because it contained unicode. "โคด" is in a /tellraw command in there. Batch, apparently, does not cope with unicode. It also contained a "&" symbol; this character causes batch to try to execute whatever command follows it, so it is bad news for batch. Don't include these!
It also had a plethora of syntax errors that I suspect were caused by the command originally being designed for 1.9 rather than 1.12. And because of my puny laptop only having 4 GB or RAM, it literally took 7 hours!
So after this, I probably won't convert any commands that are longer than 10,000 characters. It takes a long time with my small computer.
But I did convert it, and I tested it, and it works! However, because of how long it was, the output exceeded the command block limit of 32,500 characters, so I had to remove portions of the command that were purely cosmetic.

Drop on ground 1x Compass, 1x Redstone Lamp and 1x Name tag to craft a waypoint. For experimental purposes, I will probably put up a poll that finds the average conversion time for the users.
So, I was using the @r selector and noticed that it can no longer handle type=<entity>. So I wanted to see if your command converter kept the type= thing and it does. type='s will no longer work with the @r selector.

I have adjusted the command converter accordingly with the new version 1.4.1. If you specify type= within a target selector under @r, it will automatically switch it to @e with sort=random inserted at the end. It will also insert limit=1 as long as c= is not specified at any point to ensure it stays consistent with the original 1.12 command's outcome.
Fortunately it was a very small fix.
P.S. I am researching some details about /execute detect and /fill replace to make it better cope with a damage value of -1. I have a pretty good idea, but I want to solidify it as one could say.

I looked through this command, and I could not find any issues. There are no invalid characters, and the brackets are balanced. But based off of previous bug reports, I believe that the command.txt file has been placed in the wrong location. It is supposed to be in the same folder directory as the Command Converter batch program itself. Refer to the images attached for more details (the version used in the screen shots is outdated, as they are re-posts from comment #66).
Outside of that, I decided to make the version 1.5.0 (and 1.5.1 quickly followed as I forgot to add a little detail last-minute) to enhance the Command Converter's capability to deal with block damage values being -1. This damage value in Minecraft encompasses all forms of the block in question. But ever since the "flattening," a lot of the usual applications have been limited. So I created a data pack that comes with the Command Converter along with adding another mode to it called "Block Tag Mode." These now (with the mode set) replace the block with the -1 damage value with a block tag, a new feature in 1.13 to categorize blocks. Refer to Tag - Official Minecraft Wiki for more details.

EDIT: As I was testing this, I discovered a small bug in the command converter (I fixed the command manually so you could use it ASAP). If you have a user name rather than a target selector in a command like this, it just slaps the target selector arguments at the end. And Minecraft doesn't like this. So I will fix it as soon as I can.

P.S. For those wondering why it puts a /teleport command after at the end when converting /testfor and its variants, /testfor does nothing upon execution other than having a success output for other systems to read. /teleport @s ~ ~ ~ does the same thing: it changes nothing in the world, but it leaves a success output for the other systems.
So I was coding some Minecraft stuff yesterday, and I realized that I forgot to configure the Command Converter to be able to convert the "selector" tag within JSON text components. It has been thoroughly implemented, and it will convert the target selector within the JSON text component to its new 1.13 form in the new 1.5.3!

Make sure that the TARDIS.txt file is in the same folder as 1.12 to 1.13 Command Converter.bat, and the Thirteen.txt file will be created in the same directory (the output file does not have to exist for it to write to an output). After that, you have a few < and > symbols in your commands. I specifically state in the Instructions.txt that those symbols cause issues with batch. I replaced them with other characters for the sake of conversion, and I replaced them back when I was done (I used ctrl+H in Notepad++ so it went very smoothly).
I did, of course, find more bugs in the Command Converter itself in the process. After the recent additions of Input Mode Options (1.3.0), I inadvertently made it so that it could no longer process long lists of commands properly. This has all been corrected.

I have not tested this in-game as it seems to be a bit tricky to actually implement. Mostly because it uses custom playsound events, and it seems to be for a function (which is why the Command Converter removes the / at the start).
All of this was done with the latest version,1.3.2.

I have released the version 1.3.3. It literally only adds 2 commands into each of the programs. It fixes that little detail with the ench tag using s's after the id. e.g. ench:[{id:16s,lvl:5s}]
I should note for future bug fixes that I do not program stuff on Saturdays. Figured I would put that out there in case someone was wondering why I take a while to fix simple every now and then. It is because I don't code on Saturdays.
I had a few ideas for the 1.4.0 version if anyone were to request them:
I have the Lite and Normal version for 10 and 100 commands respectively. I was thinking of adding 1.12 to 1.13 Command Converter Mega for converting up to 1000 commands at once. It would be impractical for most uses, but I think it would come in handy for those with very very large lists of commands that they are willing to wait for the conversion to complete.
The other idea was adding a fourth and maybe even a fifth sub-level. I am unsure if this should be added as I have not yet encountered a command that goes down this many levels.

I was going through the code, and I noticed a little issue under /scoreboard players test, this has been fixed in version 1.3.4.

It is a very good idea to have created this software.
However as soon as I drop the .txt file with the commands 1.12, when I press on "Enter" the software closes directly. Whether it is the Lite version or not.
I use the latest version 1.3.4 so I do not understand, I use windows 10.
I tried 1.2.7 but this was the output file that the software did not find.

I believe it has to do with a misfiring of the program, by that I mean that it was not used correctly. I have included screen shots that show the steps of converting your average simple commands.
If this does not help, could you explain/take screen shots of the steps that you take when you tried to use the Command Converter?

I have released the version 1.4.0; it includes all of the things that were voted for, along with some bug fixes.
I noticed a lot of issues with the command that you gave me, I understand that you yourself didn't write it, but I shall explain the issues nonetheless...
The reason why it wasn't going through was because it contained unicode. "โคด" is in a /tellraw command in there. Batch, apparently, does not cope with unicode. It also contained a "&" symbol; this character causes batch to try to execute whatever command follows it, so it is bad news for batch. Don't include these!
It also had a plethora of syntax errors that I suspect were caused by the command originally being designed for 1.9 rather than 1.12. And because of my puny laptop only having 4 GB or RAM, it literally took 7 hours!
So after this, I probably won't convert any commands that are longer than 10,000 characters. It takes a long time with my small computer.
But I did convert it, and I tested it, and it works! However, because of how long it was, the output exceeded the command block limit of 32,500 characters, so I had to remove portions of the command that were purely cosmetic.

Drop on ground 1x Compass, 1x Redstone Lamp and 1x Name tag to craft a waypoint. You can then change colour of a waypoint by throwing one of the following dyes renamed
'Waypoint' at it: Black, White, Cyan, Lime, Yellow, Orange, Pink, Magenta, Purple. Hold the dye in your left hand and press shift to teleport to the waypoint of the
same colour.

I have adjusted the command converter accordingly with the new version 1.4.1. If you specify type= within a target selector under @r, it will automatically switch it to @e with sort=random inserted at the end. It will also insert limit=1 as long as c= is not specified at any point to ensure it stays consistent with the original 1.12 command's outcome.
Fortunately it was a very small fix.
P.S. I am researching some details about /execute detect and /fill replace to make it better cope with a damage value of -1. I have a pretty good idea, but I want to solidify it as one could say.

I looked through this command, and I could not find any issues. There are no invalid characters, and the brackets are balanced. But based off of previous bug reports, I believe that the command.txt file has been placed in the wrong location. It is supposed to be in the same folder directory as the Command Converter batch program itself. Refer to the images attached for more details (the version used in the screen shots is outdated, as they are re-posts from comment #66).
Outside of that, I decided to make the version 1.5.0 (and 1.5.1 quickly followed as I forgot to add a little detail last-minute) to enhance the Command Converter's capability to deal with block damage values being -1. This damage value in Minecraft encompasses all forms of the block in question. But ever since the "flattening," a lot of the usual applications have been limited. So I created a data pack that comes with the Command Converter along with adding another mode to it called "Block Tag Mode." These now (with the mode set) replace the block with the -1 damage value with a block tag, a new feature in 1.13 to categorize blocks. Refer to Tag - Official Minecraft Wiki for more details.

I am probably going to look into some way to make a version of this that can run on a Mac. It all depends on what I find.
EDIT: As I was testing this, I discovered a small bug in the command converter (I fixed the command manually so you could use it ASAP). If you have a user name rather than a target selector in a command like this, it just slaps the target selector arguments at the end. And Minecraft doesn't like this. So I will fix it as soon as I can.

I'm not quite sure what is causing it as I only changed teleport to effect. Also, I removed the / \ near glass and it didn't seem to complain, but it didn't help matters either.

When I manually corrected it before I fixed that tiny bug, I accidentally misspelled your username WaterLeopard777 (I wrote it as WaterLeopart777).

P.S. For those wondering why it puts a /teleport command after at the end when converting /testfor and its variants, /testfor does nothing upon execution other than having a success output for other systems to read. /teleport @s ~ ~ ~ does the same thing: it changes nothing in the world, but it leaves a success output for the other systems.

So I was coding some Minecraft stuff yesterday, and I realized that I forgot to configure the Command Converter to be able to convert the "selector" tag within JSON text components. It has been thoroughly implemented, and it will convert the target selector within the JSON text component to its new 1.13 form in the new 1.5.3!
