You cannot rename parts? Everybody can, just on the left panel in the Model tab.
The camera can be moved and rotated, why you don't try the standard motion keys like WASD?
I tried this out and I'd say it is a great start! There are a few things that I could see that would be really helpful.
1. Dragging keyframes around. (Along with the copy paste that you are planning.)
2. Keybindings if there isn't already some. (for inserting and removing keyframes.)
3. I'm not sure if this is possible but, being able to have rotation controls on the model itself would be amazing. ( like the kind in other 3d modeling software.)
4. Overall prettification of the ui. Right now it is the default jframe button skins.
5. The ability to see the current rotation of a block when clicking in-between keyframes. (This includes being able to scrub through desired parts.)
Overall this is an amazing program and with regular updates it could easily become more popular than any of the current 3d modeling software out there. (For mc.)

Hello Mark, thanks for the useful feedback and we are glad you like the MCAnimator
1. Yes, this could be really helpful and it is already in our planned list
2. This upcoming version will have the first keybinds for the keyframes, more will be added soon
3. You mean a rotating camera like techne. Yes this can be done, probably CTRL+click in one of the next versions
4. Suggestions are welcome, this is made with Swing and this is why it looks simple
5. Yes, we will surely add the interpolation between keyframes as it is important to make accurated animations

Oh I misunderstood then, you mean that useful Blender feature. Well, it could speed up the modeling process, so happy to know that someone actually needs it. Doing it will be difficult but not impossible, so we are going to add it to the planned features

That isn't limited to blender. Most any comercial 3d modeling programs have it. (I used Cinema 4d in the gif.)
But yes. That would help a lot in speeding up the process.

Hi, I have a question. Can be transferred an animated model in MCreator? Or other method animate the mob maded in MCreator. If there is please provide tutorial. Many thanks in advance! I love Your program!
We wrote to MCreator owners but they didn't reply. We could work togheter to make a way for it, but you need to talk to them as they are not answering at all
Guys, we are looking for a good modeler who wants to provide some simple but cool models for the official documentation and for the official trailers! Who wants to help us?
There seems to be something you are mistaking this for. This program is for making models and animating them for mod makers to make mods with those mobs in it. Before you bash a program learn what the program is supposed to be used for.

Some people just don't use their brain, just get used to it, the world is full
Hope everything is working ok in the MCAnimator, yesterday we had a brainstorming session to decide some cool things to add in the upcoming 1.2!
Can't wait to try this out! I've always been annoyed by a lack of Mac/Linux modeling support, what with Techne being Windows only, and MCModeler download link troubles.
Unfortunately, I'm away on vacation, and using a Laptop that's still running Snow Leopard, meaning no Java 7 for me... Once I do get home, I'd be happy to report any bugs/comments/compliments/worshipful praise to you, assuming it would help with developing this, and not just clog up your forum post.

Hello Pershonkey, glad you like the MCA. We always need feedbacks and support from users to improve and go on with the development. We'll wait for your impressions

http://dd-studios.net/index.php/mcanimator-tutorials , we are writing there all the tutorials and tips. We are writing right now the tutorial on how to export and add the mobs into your mod. Please give us few days!
OS Windows 8.1 Professional x64. Cpu Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo T5750. Rom 4 GB. Hard disk type: ssd (changed 2 pago). Java 8 Update 25, SE Development Kit 7 Update 5, 7 Update 5, FX 2.1.1, FX 2.1.1 SDK.
fps 3-5 constant
Really weird, could be about the Cpu, as we've got similar computers (W8 and your Java is surely correct). Have you extracted all from the zip? Also was it the only program open?
Well, you should really learn to read first. We are writing the documentation and there are already some tutorials at: http://www.dd-studios.net/index.php/mcanimator-tutorials/9-mcanimator-tutorials-basic

Seems a challenging feature. So we will do it
You're welcome
We will release the 1.1 version in very few days!
The most exciting features will be:
- Mac Os (and Retina display) compatibility!
- HD textures support for your models
- Shortcuts for Animations (ex. CTRL+C/V/Z)

New 1.1 version is out. This is the first release that supports Mac Os and Retina display along with Windows and Linux.
You'll also be able to do HD textures for your models and importing Techne models with HD textures.
Happy modeling!

This is really weird, is 3-5 fps always? Or just in some moments? Can you tell us the info of your OS and your Java version?
