Java 8 update 74, tried Enigma 0.10.3, 0.10.4. Get some kind of error (screenshot is in attachments) on startup and abovementioned error on mappings opening.
Maybe I am doing something wrong? I should open main minecraft JAR file in Enigma, then open .mappings file for the appropriate version, right?
Maybe the mappings file is for older version of Enigma?
I am very sorry to disturb you with a problem with such an outdated version, but I really need to deobfuscate source code, and MCP doesn't want to work either.
It does that for me as well. Just clicked ok and it was fine though.
By the way, enigma seems very so buggy. It doesn't seem to handle generic types well, nor does it correctly detect anonymous classes.
And it crashes horribly when it hits a mistake when parsing mappings files. And it leaves the file lock on when this happens which will only be removed if you close it through the UI. (Closing it from the window button leaves the process open and you have to kill it manually to free the file). And every time you rename something it changes the scroll position of the main document making difficult to keep track of where you were. I found myself editing the wrong line on multiple occasions because of this. And CTRL+V doesn't undo the last mapping as you'd expect it to. It just blanks out the document instead. And when you press R to rename something there's a small chance of it replacing the contents of the rename field with an R meaning you'll sometimes name a method: "rgetId()" and have to do it again.

It would also be nice if you could close the side panes when you weren't using them.
I'd also like to see filters/macros added to make this a little easier. Something like auto rename getters and setters based on the chosen names of the fields they apply for, or renaming every field in a class based on a string value found in their first assignment.
eg: blaze_rod = getRegisteredItem("blaze_rod");
Or something to swap the mapped names of two classes without affecting the names of their fields and methods.

enigma should just have implemented SRGs
Switching to Java 7 fixed the first error, it seems my copy of Java 8 doesn`t enjoy working with Enigma somewhy.
So I did a thing... that may or may not include being able to convert mcp mappings to the enigma format.

Well the tool still work but there has been little work done to map current versions of MC with it.
