Got to say, this is a great mapper. I make all my maps pre-generated about 100x100 chunks, this displays them without crashing or slowing down. Thanks.
The one feature I think would be nice to have is a slice-layer option, so you could use it on a "endless cave" map or in the Nether.
Also, if someone could tell me how to zoom in or out, that would be great.
I have a 14000x14000, 3.15 GB server map file, would this be able to, or even come close to being able to map that?
I have rendered 9216x9216 (1.8 GB) map successfully, png image is 59 MB. Based on some quick calculations I believe that maps up to 20 000 x 20 000 should be OK for single image rendering.

Alright, hope so, I have been looking for a mapper that works, PixelMap crashes, Cartograph crashes, Topographer crashes, I will see if this one works
This program either freezes up when I try to open any world with it, or doesn't freeze up but renders nothing.. There is no explanation for how the live renderer is supposed to work.
I've downloaded your Epic World V1.0 Blank map for testing, it renders nothing for me too, will be fixed

Problem was caused by your map has chunks with no biome information.
Fixed in 0.2.122, thx for reporting.
Unmined renders your map in dark tones because of low elevation. This will be adjustable in the future.
I just downloaded and tested this on a few of my maps. Impressive! I haven't generated any massive maps to test it against, but I like what I'm seeing with my smaller ones so far.
I'll probably test out the live updating here in a bit while I go check out what appears to be a stronghold out in the ocean.
And a question or two: is there a way to zoom in on the map in the program, or can I only generate the image and then zoom in on that?
Everytime I try exporting the map it says "Can't allocate the DIB handle"
What does this mean?
It seems that you tried to export a huge map and Unmined was not able to allocate enough RAM for the result image. Tiled image export for Google Maps will be a solution for this problem.
PNG export have been tested and works up to 8000x8000 blocks, BMP export works up to 20000x20000 blocks if you have at least 4 GB of RAM. Google Maps export will work on any map size without limitations and will not require large amounts of RAM.

Well darn, my map is about 30000 by 30000. Is hell finding something that can render that.

Most image formats have limitations because of 32-bit integer values in it's headers. Maximum dimensions of a single BMP image are about 23100 x 23100 pixels. PNG images can be larger, but I don't have a PNG library can encode such large images. Even Photoshop can't save PNG images larger than 30000 x 30000 px.
Unmined will able to render your 30k x 30k world into a single image of 15k x 15k pixels at zoom level 0.5x when zoom become available.

Can you send me your map for testing?
I've added a version check. Thanks.

I want to use this for a map I will release for my server, so I want it to look nice as well, so is there a way to make the ocean not transparent?
Map rendering options will be available soon.
What browser are you using?
I have changed some settings, it should work now.
