Is there a way I can view each Y layer without seeing the layers below? I have been looking for a way to make blueprints of some creations I have made in 1.13 in Excel but its hard to export the layers to Excel when each spliced Y layer shows the blocks in layers below it. There is no way to tell if its another block on top of a block or not.
Or does anyone know if there is another editor or method out there to see each splice individually?
I've read the documentation and have managed to make an overhead map of my Minecraft overworld using the CLI. I'm now wondering if it's possible to make a map of my world's caves with the CLI version? The docs don't mention it.
The server is a spigot-server v1.14.3 running at ubuntu 14.04.

I may be missing something but how do you view the nether in the latest version? There used to be a drop down menu on the world folder to see the different dimensions but I'm not seeing it now.
Can somebody guide me through the terminal usage on an Ubuntu?
I just started to look into this.
The documentation on the website is lacking, to say the least - have they just updated their site? There's only a windows command line instruction, and trying to convert that into what i though it would fit in my terminal on the Unbuntu 18.04 i have running, didn't do a thing.
Heya! It looks awesome overall. Great tool for planning and such. I have one complaint though.
Could you PLEASE either fix mushroom bioms to show as some sort of purple or clue me in on how to do it. I am terraforming a large mushroom island but cannot tell what is grass and what is mycellium with you program.
so I think I have the newest version of unmined, I extracted bot zip files (gui & client?) and in gui found the .exe file. this works, I can see the map & do layers but I cant filter blocks etc. I only have 2 tabs - level properties & web export.
but screenshots from other people show lots of other tabs including filtering blocks?
Hi, I was going to load my multiplayer world on version 1.16.4 with the newest version of unmined and it can´t open the overworld. But Nether and End can be loaded fine. I have Windows 10 64-bit and the world size is probably 2GB big. I was waiting probably 10 minutes but nothing loaded. Is there a way to fix it?
I am attempting to generate a map from a spigot-1.16.4 server using the Linux version of the cli tool (unmined-cmd_0.12.20-dev_net5.0-linux-x64_sc). I get the following:

It sounds like the image is too big; if I had to guess Unmined or the image library it uses uses a 32 bit integer to represent the file size and it exceeds that limit (2 or 4 GB); the uncompressed size is shown to be over 80 GB, which will easily exceed the limit when compressed (and is also unlikely to be readable by any program). I don't know if there is an option to render the world into smaller images (I've only used a much older GUI-based version on worlds up to about 6500x7000 in size, which is over 400 times smaller) but you may have to run it multiple times on smaller regions.

Hey guys,
I made a thing for uNmINeD which allows you to load worlds online from compatible servers.
Everything is open-source and uses no pirated code from the original author.
All details along with download links are here: UnminedOnline
Feel free to comment or report issues over there.
Cheers

P.S.: Ok. I make it.

did I not install it properly? How do I do that?

Hi,
I've got windows 10. I'm trying to get the map from a realm my friend has. How would I go about getting the world data?
I did try your online commands but none of them worked.
Thanks

Please ZIP and upload your world using a large file sharing service (Google Drive, MediaFire), and send me the link for testing.

TheMasterCaver's First World - possibly the most caved-out world in Minecraft history - includes world download.
TheMasterCaver's World - my own version of Minecraft largely based on my views of how the game should have evolved since 1.6.4.
Why do I still play in 1.6.4?
I tried limiting the generated image size using something like
"--area=r(3307,4890,1800,1800)"
but it still failed
use regions instead of block coordinates
Still no luck:
I've tried various ways of quoting the --area parameter, but all give me this same result.
Thanks!
Interesting, it works differently on my machine.
Please try without spaces between the numbers: –-area="r(1,1,1,2)"
The latest 0.12.24 also supports zoom to generate smaller images of large worlds, example: --zoom=-2
I downloaded the latest (unmined-cmd_0.12.25-dev_net5.0-linux-x64_sc) and tried with the --area you suggested, but am still having the same problem:
It seems based on the output that the program is still using the world size for the rendering rectangle, even when I specify an --area.
Thanks!
Scott
I also tried --zoom=-2 and it got further:
Thanks!
Scott
