I know i complained about this before, and you fixed it, but for versons onwards it has been broken.. Can you please add the function to drop in from chrome and windows? Drag'n'drop?
i realize you may have heard this before, but i need help. i have tried many times to get a custom mod-pack working, but i cannot for the life of me prevent id conflicts. if it is not too much, could you possibly include some form of automated or semi-automated (near idiot-proof) method of assigning ids? id resolver seems to get my hopes up, then fail completely and make my game vomit all over me. i apologize for this being so long, i got my suggestion in, and now, i wait, and pray.
adieu
ID Resolver seems to be working fine for me, but I'm sure it's not foolproof. I'd like to see this.
I cant login to any Multiplayer servers after updating to Windows 8 while using MultiMC. If i use standalone MC it works fine. when using multimc i get the error Failed to login: java.net.ConnectException: connect: Address is invalid on local machine, or port is not valid on remote machine
ive already check my hosts file in system32 no luck there.
Interesting. I'm not using Windows, so I can't help you, but I'd like to see if anyone else can.
Hi I was wondering if someone could help with a minecraft crash that I've been getting quite often. The minecraft report is contained in this pastebin extract. http://paste.ubuntu.com/1344826/
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Dance
Hmm, probably not MultiMC-related, but I have no idea what's causing that crash. I, in fact, have no idea what the aub.a method does.
Let’s play good guys against bad guys… Yes. Let’s play that. Are you ready? You’re the bad guy. And when you’re bad, you just run. That’s fine right? Well… Shall we play?

yeah its very weird. it has to be something with Windows 8 causing it. it worked fine before i upgraded but now i can only run just minecraft not minecraft through MultiMC. I even tried an older build of MultiMC and still no luck.
That's a conflict between controls, should be fairly easy to fix.
You would think that wouldn't you, but it is not. You are probably thinking to just change the keys to something not used. The only problem with that is it just changes itself right back. Uninstall everything and reinstall several different ways, no help. Update all the mods, no help. Rebuild the minecraft.jar, no help.
A (minor) request.
Could you make it so that the auto updater doesn't pop up? If there is a new version maybe a button could appear somewhere to update? If it can't connect it then so be it, don't give me an error. I spend a lot of my time offline and the constant sound of the Windows beep puts me on edge.

I just added Buildcraft and it now repeats 8x.
I'm pretty sure that's an Optifine issue.

hey, i love MultiMC but for some reason is not letting me allocate more memory to Java anymore
if i leave it on the default 512 to 1024 it works fine, but if i change it to 1024 to 4096 crashes
doesnt matter if its a clean new instance or one modded, i get the same results.
this is the console report. what can i do?
Instance started with command: "java" -Xms1024m -Xmx4096m -jar MultiMCLauncher.jar "JerryMac" "6014631286331317678" "MultiMC: AvgCraft" "max"
Instance exited with code 1.
Minecraft has crashed!

Hmmm ... my only guess is you don't have 4096 MB of RAM?

what do you mean, without the .jar? cause i can play offline thru the minecraft launcher.
When you run the Minecraft launcher, it automatically downloads the "Minecraft.jar" file, which the game is run from. You need a premium Minecraft account in order to download this file from the Mojang servers.
Since the last update I keep getting random crashes. I haven't changed any of my mods I in no way claim to understand how to read the forge log or the crash reports so I made a paste bin of each. Any one know how to read them? Forge log and crash report

If you don't have Premium, you won't be able to get the .jar, and so "play offline" won't work without the .jar.
