I have started playing MC about a week ago, and got quite addicted! Now i'm starting to get an interest in mods for the game as well as beginning to get active on the forums.
This is my first post, i hope you don't mind it.
Also, i am from Brazil, and english is not my natural language, so please do tell if anything gets unclear or in case misspelling happens.
----------
Now, regarding your launcher...
Well, to put it simply, anything i could try to say to express how awesome your tool is would be an understatement!
Ever since i started to try modding my MC, i have ended up spending more time in crashes and re-installing MC (clean install crap many mod's install instructions request in case they crash) than actually playing cool mods.
Well, that was until yesterday at afternoon, when i first met Magic Launcher!
At first i was still a little off because my MC was on a modified state, but after a clean install, i didn't even touch my minecraft.jar anymore! As of now (i mean it, i'm looking it at the loader!) have 9 minor mods running concurrently, loaded 100% by the launcher without even visiting my .minecraft folder. Everything is being loaded directly from the loader. Even modloader, modloader_mp, Audiomod and Forge! (APIs required by other mods to work)
I am unsure if the order they are loaded changes the result, but just as a precaution, i have arranged it so APIs that require nothing else are loaded first/top, followed by "API-dependent APIs" (ex: forge needs modloader so modloader goes first), then followed by the actual mods.
Everything but ONE mod so far has worked superb! Thank you so much for the tool (IMO it has beaten the other similar tools, by far!)
----------
I have this ONE mod i want to install but don't really know how...MultiMine...it worked when i tryed it out before knowing about Magic Launcher.
Some mods are not ready as soon as you download, in these cases, mostly because the zip you download ain't the mod, but contains it in a sub-zip file. A simple reading of the mod's install instructions and unzipping the actual mod file (.zip inside .zip) from the downloaded file gets it ready for the Magic Launcher's "add" button. :laugh.gif:
BUUUUT! This one mod requires MCPatcher, and the downloaded files seems to indeed need it to patch them into minecraft.
I have tryed adding (yes, that button i just mentioned) the mod's jar, contained inside the .zip at MultiMine.zip\mcpatcher-mods\MuiltiMine.jar, with seems to be the mod file, but it had not results ("No mods found" + no ingame result when testing)
Here is the run's log, if it is of any use. (running other mods together, whose, all, seem to work fine. MultiMine is the only one with no effect)

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I have never been successful installing mods no matter what I did. And I consider myself an intelligent computer user. Donation is coming your way.
I am in awe of this tool. The best thing since sliced bread! Works great! Well done and many thanks sir! I just wanted to leave a message letting everyone know that if you just search this thread with key words of what your trying to get working you will probably find your solution! Here is what I have working--
Windows 7- with 2048 in java 7
Minecraft:1.1
MagicLauncher: 0.9.5
Mods: in order in mods tab in set-up for MagicLauncher
ModLoader for 1.1
*AudioMod for 1.1* (Only the files in the resource folder need to be manually added to the resource folder in mincraft)
MoCreatures 3.2.2
CustomMobSpawner for 1.1 -- no mods found (harmless, works fine)
ReiMinimap 3.0.01
mincraftforge-client 1.3.2.1 -- 2errors (harmless,works fine)
Optifine 1.1 HD S C
*Could NOT add with MagicLauncher.
*GuiAPI 0.13.1-1.1* {had to be manually taken from zip file and put into Mincraft.jar file}
Am EXTRA thank you to all the folks that had my issues before I did and found the answers! Most importantly, POSTED the answers in this thread!!

GuiAPI was working just fine last time I tried it.
So I'm trying to install mo'creatures which requires GUI Api, but I noticed Gui API still says it needs to be put in to the Minecraft Jar directly, is there a way to list a mod in the Magic Launcher without it loading since said mod had to be shoved directly into the minecraft jar?
(I had to start a fresh install was getting lots of Memory Out of Errors, and Javaw.exe would always 'crash' when I tried to quit minecraft)
hello i recently started using your mod and i think it wonderful
however when i try to install btw it so no mods found. i was wondering if i could please get some help regarding this. i saw that this was a common error people where having and it didn't seem to get responded to. i tried to look up a solution but i couldn't find any. any help would by highly appreciated.

I just got to fooling around with MCNostalgia the other day and found that Magic Launcher could detect pretty much detect everything except for Indev & Infdev jars. With them, it reports them as version: invalid and simply crashes when run.
I know it would be an ULTRA-low priority, but it would be nice to have it detect those as well. :3

GuiAPI was working just fine last time I tried it.
I was here looking for help with GuiAPI and came across this. It doesn't load via the launcher, it throws an error and the message in the log says it needs to go directly into the .jar file. I found an alternate ID resolver, but it was never updated for 1.1, so I've kind of given up.
i tryed to put minecraft forge in the launcher i'm sure i used the latest version i also tryed some other versions
and everytime i got the message that there was "no forge". it didn't crash when i started minecraft but when i tryed to run a mod that required minecraft forge. How can I fix this?
