I guess a couple people have been having issues with the "Start Minecraft" button, but everyone seems to get it working in the end. If you had the problem, what did you do to fix it? Did you forget to rename the original minecraft.jar to game.jar? :wink.gif:
Also, the manager will only load stuff that would normally go into minecraft.jar. If a mod wants you to put files elsewhere (like into the resources folder), you should do that normally.
What do i do if there is no Meta-Inf in the Bin folder. I tried running this and i get a black screen when trying to load mods. Also, where were you a few days ago when i accidentally deleted my worlds when trying to install mods :tongue.gif:.

The Meta-Inf is in minecraft.jar. Just look at the files usinging "Open with ->winrar (or 7zip) is the easiest way
Nice! But, I have one problem sir. Everything starts up fine but, none of the mods are actually working. I tried just installing one, and I couldn't even use it. Any ideas on whats happening? I was messing around with: Modloader, Zombe's Modpack, TooManyItems, Shelf, and DeathChest.

Same here. It says modloader is enabled and stuff, but when i enter TMI, it says "Modloader OFF" and all my other modloader mods aren't loading. Help?
Just tested it, and yes, ModLoader basically doesn't work. The reason is that it searches minecraft.jar and an external folder called "mods" for ModLoader mods, and there aren't any in either place. If it searched the whole classpath (which isn't any harder than what it's currently doing) then it would work. TMI has the same problem with detecting if ModLoader is installed.
The good news is that its very easy for me to patch ModLoader to work correctly. The bad news is that I really wanted to design a system that would work with all existing mods, and it apparently won't work with most mods that detect other mods. I'm going to try to think of solutions, but I may have to resort to contacting mod authors and/or providing specific patches.
