I'm stuck right now and a bit behind in other projects so haven't given this much time.
Well, I hate to hear that, but it is understandable. Life takes its toll I guess. Just know that there are those of us eagerly awaiting your progress.
In the meantime, I have published two of my event scripts for SimpleServer's Event system. If anyone is interested feel free to check them out. The first is called lastOn and gives a quick summary of the last few people to log on, and the second is called jail and is just what it sounds like, my version of a jail command/system. If you check them out I would like some feedback. Let me know what you guys think.
If you guys think they are worthy of it, i might start a new Topic for one or both of them... Thanks
Just in case anyone can't compile the sources themselves here is: SimpleServer(8.4.11) for minecraft 1.6.4 compiled under Ubuntu(linux) 12.04
Tested it for a moment with a newly constructed world. Ran fine.
Obviously I am no one of importance worthy of any strangers trust so
scan for viruses yourself and use at your own risk. I claim no responsibility for code,
possible errors, crashes, or malfunctions of any sort.
Questions of usage and/or support should be directed at the gitHub team that currently maintains
SimpleServer Wrapper.
I am just a pleased advocate and supporter of SimpleServer Wrapper who wants to make
it more available to people for use.
I will try to keep an eye on the gitHub sources as new versions are released and build compiled
jars for new versions as I am available to do so.
If this is unessecary or unwanted for any reason let me know and I will take this post and the file down.
No offense intended to Sadimusi or anyone, but I totally loved SimpleServer when I started running a small, 4-6 person server for myself and a few friends. I'll be migrating to Bukkit now that SS doesn't seem to be actively updated, and personally I might suggest that other prospective SimpleServer users simply switch to Bukkit, as well. Thanks to everyone who made SimpleServer great! Your work was appreciated.
So, I too, have reluctantly started to "make the switch". I second, the appreciation mentioned above so, Thank you to everyone who put time into this project and thanks for all the acts of kindness over the years. Take care!
