2#. when i run "test_game" it says i have to recompile it
EVEN THO I JUST DID
Can somone please help?
Open up RenderManager.java and look at the bottom. if there are extra brackets and something like f/= then delete it. also, if you make a mob drop items at only 67% or something like that, it wont compile.

And, some of the errors are like: "sources\minecraft\net\minecraft\client\minecraft.java:73: '_' expected"
ALSO it says when decompiling: "1 out of 1 hunk failed -- saving rejects to file net/minecraft/src/worldIso"
And so on
The "1 out of 1 hunk failed -- saving rejects to file net/minecraft/src/worldIso" error is most likely because it cant find the JDK. You need to add it to the environment variable in the my computer properties.
As for the "sources\minecraft\net\minecraft\client\minecraft.java:73: '_' expected" error i think you might need to fix it manually.
Hey, one thing I cant figure out is how to (crap I forget the name of what this is called lol) essentially how to make it into classes and such to work with normal mc. (So I can play it on my normal worlds with the mods I use lol)
Reobfuscate?
Yes thats what its called, but I cant do that in MCP because I do not know what files were created/edtied. And I looked in the "src" file that you do the modding in and as far as I can tell no new files.

So can anyone help me with this? :smile.gif:
1. Run 'reobf.bat'
2. Open Minecraft.jar with WinRAR or similar program
3. All the classes contained within C:\MCP\final_out\minecraft\ are the mod classes. Add these to minecraft.jar
4. Delete META-INF folder in minecraft.jar

Hope that helps :biggrin.gif:
But, unless im very suborn today, you haft to edit the "client_obfuscation" and type in what files were edited, am I not correct? :smile.gif: If I'm not correct and am being dumb today then which minecraft.jar ( the one in C:\Users\-myname-Desktop\Minecraft\Modding\MCP (1.3_1)\jars\bin?? )

You are correct but I'm not 100% sure which files are actually modified. I figured it out It's the :
EntityMob
ModelMob
RenderMob
RenderManager
MobSpawnerBase
And the "AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\bin" is the one you put them in.(IIRC Been off minecraft for a while. lol)
I'm not going to flame on them, but I don't get how their posts get more attention than this one, while theirs isn't released, and they don't provide any pictures.

How do i add it to the "my computer variables"?
Right Click "my computer" and click on "properties".
(For windows 7 /Vista you need to click advanced properties after you go into properties)
Then under one of the tabs there should be a button that says Environment Variables or something
similar, Click it.
Then scroll down to "PATH" click edit and add the path to your javac.exe file.
For example mine is in : "C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_23\bin"
And that's it
If people are worried about it taking great mods out of the spot light:
How would extremely basic mobs even compare to a good one like those made by Dr. Zhark?
And if it is about the board possibly getting flooded by bad mods:
So what? Bad mods will be ignored and the good mods will stay at the top
It's like complaining about someone making a program that gives templates to make skins (which I think happened at one point). It doesn't matter if there are basic tools that could allow for new talent to get in more easily. If they don't have any skills, then all they will be able to do is produce crap that will get pushed to the bottom of the pile
Weelllll atleast you can make mobs ;( i cant
What errors are u getting?
There is no F/ in there
>..<
did you properly texture your mob?

I still don't see the issue with this

Lol. Trying to figure that out myself.
Should look like this:

On Vista/ 7 you have to click on advanced properties on the left:
