1. Could not find the main class: net.minecraft.server.MinecraftServer
The main cause of this typically is either not having minecraft_server.jar in the same folder as the extracted zMod files, or having Minecraft_Server.exe in the folder. Minecraft_Server.exe is NOT the same as minecraft_server.jar , it can be obtained from the download page at http://www.minecraft.net
2. How do I set points?
This can easily be done with the Gold Shovel part of the mod tools obtained with /modkit to the rank of Mod+ by default. Highlight a block and right-click with the Gold Axe in hand, this will alternate between the first and second point selections.
Zan, is there any way I can use this without the .bat? I use a server not off my computer, but hosted somewhere else and I use remote access to it, I can put in command lines, but it says it does not support .bat files. Please answer quickly.

It's probably a linux system, so use the .sh file.
Try running "nohup sh unix_start.sh" through the terminal.
Edit: Alternatively, if you don't want the restart feature to work, you'd enter the command:
"nohup java -Xms1024M -Xmx1024M -cp zMod.jar:minecraft_server.jar net.minecraft.server.MinecraftServer nogui"
nohup, by the way, is just a method of ignoring input so you can close the remote connection and still have the server continue to run.
I don't know if I did it right... But I tried this
And it didn't let the server go up
Bleh, it looks like you don't have the option of changing the command itself.
What you'll have to do is, copy everything from zMod.jar into minecraft_server.jar, then run it normally.
These server hosters dont really let me do anything.
I try to put the modified minecraft_server.jar in there except it just starts to freak out and say there cant be two, so it renames mine to minecraft_server1.jar
Any other ways?
PS: If you know anything to about this, the hoster is Xenon, if you know about them and know how to bypass this, yea.
ALSO: They don't let me remove the first minecraft_server.jar or even download or select it, its like the base of the tower and it ain't letting you move it.

That should be fine, you would put minecraft_server1.jar as the value.
Look into getting an actual VPS.

Amg, when I put it as the value, the hoster indicates the server as UP and RUNNING, except the server doesn't work when it runs off a custom command, urgh.

No, only ops can use /give /wool and /dye, mods can use /modkit though.

Leave the minecraft_server.jar alone and use the unix script to launch it (Mac is a unix system).

I know I am going to sound super n00bish, but can you please instruct me on exactly what to do? A quick step-by-step process? :biggrin.gif:
