please reply!!!!
this is probably a stupid question but how do you install a mod using this?
i put a mod in the mod folder and it didnt work!!
the test mod works
but not the one that i installed
@nbowman - you dont put non-mycraft mods in the mycraft mods folder. Follow the specific mods instructions either on the forum thread for it or in its own readme.
Since the Mojang update many ppl have had problems. First being not even being able to connect to minecraft.net which is necessary to redownload the game if you need a clean copy and also necessary if you want to play on any server. The MyCraft devs showed me a workaround using MyCraft's proxy feature to connect to minecraft.net and dl the fresh copy of minecraft.
However, now i am experiencing problems with the game crashing using minecraft 1.3 which i never had before. Here is the pastbin link where i posted the error message i got when i ran mycraft from a batch file.

so them what the hell is the point of the mod manager if you can't install mods?
You have to follow the install instructions for whatever mod you are using. If the mod is using this to load it, then you just drop it in the mods folder, otherwise you have to follow the instructions to install it.
The point of this mod manager is to be a version-independent type of modloader, which also doesn't require you to open/edit minecraft.jar to add or remove mods
I take my hat off to you, sir. This is an amazing mod, with so much potential!
If there is ANYTHING I can do to help, do not hesitate to ask. Keep up the good work!
How can I get the block I'm mining with a specific tool and replace it with air?
I want to make a mod for "instant mining" that replace the block with air when I use specific tool at the blook.
yep... me too... running on win7 32bit amd turion64 x2 mobile...
minecraft vanilla works w/o problems...
d/led the minecraft.jar and put it in the lib folder...
it doesn't crash... so there is no error-msg... it just stays black... weird... :happy.gif:;
Is this going to be updated to the new launcher?
Yes it most definitely is. I'm also about to fix it for the current launcher with Beta 1.3.
Smooth lighting has been taken out due to it being in the actual game now (under the same name too =D)
More updates to follow soon.
question: would it be possible to put the texture pack selector in-game, so you don't have to exit or disconnect to change packs?
However, immediate issue I am having is my torch heads now show blue rather than red. Turning all mods this loads off does not stop it.
Haven't seen any other issue yet.
I think this is just the test mod (in the mods folder), I don't think you can toggle mods yet in the interface, so just move the folder out.
I've looked at all of the other comments and nothing has worked for me so far. Here's the code from Console that I get:
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks,
