This looks awesome but it's not saving the data correctly after it is done generating. It takes the time to generate it and go through all the steps, but in the end, the World1 folder it creates only contains a couple of descending 0 folders with nothing in them. I have repeatedly tried, with different inputs, but it always comes out the same. I hope you can get it fixed because I'd really like to try it.
@BigBlueGER It's probably still waiting if you put it at 128.
Also OP might want to put in the OP that you need to have the halloween update for it to work. (no lightstone/nether)
AHHH! This is such a cool generator! I'm going to have fun with thiiiis. Keep up the awesome generators :smile.gif: I'll be watching your work in the future.
Making a world now, but I put it up to 64 so now I'm sitting here waiting on Lava. (definitely should have just done 32 for my first try xD) Hopefully wont have to wait tooooo long.

[quote=Kasudain]Well, all major religions have a 'Hell' with flying jellyfish that throw fireballs. Duh.
The thing keeps getting hung up on the lightstone generation step (halting after lava has been added). This step could really use some optimization, and some progress indicators. It would sure take off a few hours of generating my worlds.
Currently, the largest world I have successfully generated is of 192 (64*3) chunk length. I tried 256, but it crashed.
I let my computer run overnight to generate a 128x world.
That little circle in the middle? Well, let's just say I had no trees at my spawn, so I had to take a long walk to find one, chop down the leaves for saplings and the wood for lumber, and journeyed back to spawn to begin work on this tree farm:
So far I've had two trees grow, I'm just waiting to get some more wood before I begin my grand trek to the edge so I can dig down to find a break in bedrock to enter regularly generated chunks. It'll be a trip to see this from the outside and dig out a proper entrance for it. Tonight I may go for generating a 256x world while I sleep.
I'd love to see some animal spawns as well as diamonds. I wouldn't mind some noisy company while I'm digging out my dwarven fortress.
There are no breaks in the bedrock, though there is lava (not saying where :wink.gif: ) so you could make a portal out.
Animals should spawn in the brighter grassy areas. I've definitly run into cows and sheep when testing this.
For the next update to this I'm planning to have an option to generate a map with 1 tunnel leading up to a hole in the top (where I'll set the spawn point). That should solve a lot of the problems with being warped out of the map and should also make these usable for SMP.
I FOUND SNOW IN MY TUNNEL! It was right near the adminium wall.
Anyway, Awesome! For you!

Umm, whenever I generate a map and start to play it, my game starts lagging A LOT. No matter what I do, the map starts lagging after a few seconds and I can't move around. Help?
Dude this is just awesome! I like your other map generators the forest one is awesome. But the other one I like it but of the 3 its my 3rd choice. But this one is my favorite can't wait till you make another generator.
The amount of lightstone in this is perfect, I dunno what Lost722 is on about. And yeah, I found animals when I finally hit some open grassy areas.
I generated a 192-chunk map this time, and right now the mod is making a 226-chunk map so I reckon it'll be a half a day or so before it finishes. I can't wait for the update with a big open hole at the top, a cave city would definitely make for a fun server map.

Same with me, i only put it at 16 0.o to test it out :/

Would be amazing in SMP, any idea when you could have it ready for it?
