For those of you who want to run it on mac and have some idea of what you're doing with Terminal, download mono. It will run it and make the world. Worked perfectly for me.

Actually, I lied, perhaps it didn't work as well as I thought it did.
To run:
1. Unzip PlanetoidMapGenerator to its own folder
2. Run PlanetoidMapGenerator.exe
3. Enter a folder name, a map side in chunks, and whether you want water below or an open sky map
4. Copy the world folder created to either the "world" folder in your Minecraft folder (for SMP) or the
%appdata%\.minecraft\saves folder.
Note: Using an open sky map for multiplayer is a bad idea just now, since if you fall, you just full forever and don't die. Also while I can run open sky maps fine in single player, I've had some performance issues running them as a server.
When choosing the subtype... It always says invalid and closes...
just a little question: just how in the hell would I get from planet to planet
u need to mine out the inside of ur starting planet and then hold shift and walk as far off edge as possible and then build underneath in the shape of a bidge
I made a map with this generator, and I used shockah's error program and got this error:

I posted a fixed download link. Let me know if it doesn't work for you.
You get from planet to planet by building bridges You always start on a planet that you can mine by hand.
I cant get it when i click the link i get to where do to download it and it says an error has occurred please try again... i try multiple more times and it never works

i was wondering if you could make a big glass plantiod and that being the only plantiod?
One suggestion, could you make this compatible with hippolatimus's World Generator mod. It allows you to toggle world generators with different maps.

Yes it does. I installed a flying mod today and loaded up my planetoids world and found out that I could in fact go beyond the wall.
