When going to the link to the website, I got warned by my zoomtown internet security that it was a dangerous website, but I clicked to go to the website, (Oh how dumb of me... ) and my security popped up, saying al sorts of Trojan virius's and spyware had been detected, and my internet closed. So, is it possible there are viruses on the website to download the program?
umm i have a bit of a problem well you see, that when i double click on the jar file it comes up with a java installer if you could help me you would be better than you already are or mabye make it a application like minecraft is
When I open the freeform tab, it doesn't load correctly...it doesn't show the grid at all and it only shows the buttons if I roll my mouse over it. All the other tabs (circle, bridge, etc.) work but not freeform...Any suggestions?
Would it be possible to use this to program? Like you would create the House or whatever and it would output the Java Code (used for minecraft modding)
I am having trouble using the 3D Projection. When I hold shift down the left arrow zooms in like the up arrow and the right arrow zooms out like the down arrow. I have no way to shift right and left. In your tutorial i watched you shift right and left. Any idea why my left and right keys are acting like the up and down ones while holding shift? On a side note, when i don't hold shift, all four arrow keys perform different functions, rotate up, down, left, and right. Thanks for any feedback.

I had this problem too. He addresses it in his FAQ. You probably have Java 7 which still has bugs. Roll back to Java 1.6 and it will fix the issue. It worked for me. Just make sure you uninstall Java 7 after you have installed 1.6.
So I'm trying to use the auto convert feature to change a picture into pixel art. But when I do, it just throws TONS of random tiles down that cover up the picture completely and basically is just a silhouette of the picture and no real picture to it. The colors are all wrong and it's just random blocks arranged in the order of the picture.
Is there a way to get it to fill in with proper colors and such?or even choose what tiles it uses to fill the picture?
And for Windows 7. I used to kind of have that problem in XP, but it was manageable. However, in 7, it's totally unusable, because every time the window is changed, everything is turned invisible (until you hover over the buttons, then they show up, but I still can't see the freeform grid).

Windows 7 x64, same problem here I got all excited (and it does spheres and preset stuff nicely) but I can't MAKE any structures because the GUI doesn't render : /

All the GUI problems are because this structure planner hasn't been updated for Java 7, so you'd have to run a copy of Java 6 to get it working properly.
Also last post on page 28, posted Jan 12th, he said he was updating the code and would have it to us in a few weeks. That was seven MONTHS ago. Where is this update?
This looks like a very cool app that I'd love to use to help me plan my builds. Unfortunately the GUI bug makes it unuseable :/ I was hoping to find an archived version of it somewhere but all references of it point to the main website with the buggy version. Oh well.. wish the OP/dev would hop back in the saddle for it.
Yes this needs to be fixed. Everyone that trues to help 'fix' the issue with the UI just tells us to 'downgrade' to java8, but we ARE using java 6 and the issue is still there.
This would have really helped me when I was planing out my large city/castle design rather than having to do it as pixel art.

No, there's something redirecting the page to a sketchy site.
