Yes, ALL 1.3.1 blocks are recognized by Chunky. Redstone wire and redstone repeater rendering is a bit off at the moment, but I'm working on a fix for that.
Sorry but I still have the same error.. Is it caused by my computer?
Nope, I found the error. It occurs if you don't select any chunks (selected chunks are highlighted in red) before you create a new 3D scene. You can click on chunks in the map or shift+drag to select an area. I have also fixed this particular crash in version 1.0.14!
I've done a quick release of 1.0.15 to address a bug in 1.0.14 that caused errors when generating render dumps for scenes where the canvas width was not equal to the canvas height.
Uncaught exception in render manager

Any hints on rendering indoor scenes? I tried this because it looked very interesting, but even with 50k SPP indoor scenes still look somewhat grainy. I guess it doesn't use any algorithms for quicker convergence, does it? That's quite a pity as that makes it quite slow. :-(
Still, awesome project. Keep going!
I'm guessing your using particles and have torches indoor?
I'm not sure the reason why (nrub could explain this more) but when you render with particles it's grainy no matter what.
Try turning particles off or lower?

I'm a Java programmer, and I'm a terrible artist. Anything else, just ask me.
Hmmm, Could you make it so that I could have another computer render? I have a headless server that has a few spare cores that could use some exercising. (configuring with a GUI doesn't work so well on a headless box running no GUI at all... :P)
where can i find some skymap files? also, it's hard to tell where the sun is specifically in the picture before i render when i use the sun yaw and pitch scrollers. could there be some sort of dot in the center of where the sun is?

I've been looking for the last three days for something like this! The only other mod I found was missing a key file for the "Builder" option so I couldn't do anything. Maybe I can get to custom mapping with this. YAY!
Wow! This is awesome! I like how I need 0 skills at graphics stuff to make awesome 3d renders.
I got a pretty far fetched request tho, I hope you don't puke at me: Tekkit support (Redpower2, buildcraft, industrial craft, railcraft, etc), or some way to add custom blocks.
The Mac bundle doesn't work on 10.8 Mountain Lion, but the Jar works. Fantastic job!

When life gives you a potato, wonder why the heck life just gave you a potato. Why not something else? Like money? Or a combustable lemon? No, you get a potato. Nothing else.
Please help the .jar file only pops up a terminal window for half a second then closes(says something but cant read it its to fast) i have java 7 update 5 I've looked for an update for java but there doesn't seem to be one my comp is an acer aspire one 1.6 ghz pros 1 gb ram running windows 7 ultimate is my computer to slow for this program or is something wrong
I'm pretty sure it already does recognize all blocks, unless your using a mod of course.
Explain your problem a bit further please?

Wait, wait, wait. You confused me there, Can a nvidia GPU run OpenCl? And can a amd GPU run Cuda?
Sure, just copy the world file of your server somewhere on your computer and select it in chunky.
