Nice tool! Could use a way to trash items. I would also add more categories in the block menu, or just make it taller to prevent having to scroll as much.

Someone's a tad strong in their use of anti-feminine derogatory metaphors today.
If you add Drag and Drop, upgrade the appearance, and continue to upgrade the item list I would totally use this over INVedit, but right now it's much more convenient for me - even though I can't add Haloween blocks yet(I bet there is an update but I have yet to download it).
Being a web developer my self, I would love to help you with designing this page, if you want. I'm not the best, but I am pretty good. :smile.gif: If you are interested in some help feel free to email me ([email protected]), because I'm not sure if I will see it in this thread.

Thanks. I probably will add a way to trash items, as this has been requested by several people now. However, you can just drag one item on top of the one you wish to trash to get rid of it.
Also, feel free to suggest categories to add. I do want to add some more but wasn't sure the best way to divide the items up. I'll probably add a 'food' category, and perhaps 'mineral'?

Not sure what you mean by adding Drag and Drop, as that's how the interface works currently for adding items. A drag and drop for file uploads might be possible, but that'll involve using Adobe Air or a similar product. I'm not sure I want to delve into that just yet.
The item list should be pretty much complete. I've left out blocks that I understand don't work with Alpha, but if you see any obvious omissions let me know. So if you have any specific suggestions on how to "upgrade the item list" I'll be happy to take those into account.
EDIT: I'm using Windows 7 and Google Chrome and was able to drag a file from Windows onto the "Choose file" button in my web tool and have it pick up the file. You still have to hit the Upload button, but this might be more convenient for some of you.

Not really.
HTML5 seems to have a FileAPI that allows drag-n-drop of files onto the web browser. (and also has support for multiple file upload) Look at this demo here: http://www.html5rocks.com/tutorials/file/dndfiles/
Not just because you're on linux. Maybe you have a javascript blocker, javascript or cookies turned off, or are using a browser I haven't tested with. But I'd need more information to help you get it working, such as what browser you're using and what exactly isn't working.
Ah, thanks again CrazyTerabyte. I guess now that browser support has come along for HTML5 it's time to start learning about all its cool features.
Well, I started to play with the drag and drop for files, and it appears the current stable version of Firefox doesn't support all the features I'd need. Chrome does however, but at this point it's not worth spending the time on to get that working for Chrome users when they can already drag and drop to the file select input.
Why cant I get it to work... there is a screen that pops up when I click download... I've used it many times before so I know that I'm not doing anything wrong... what the matter with it???
Is there anything on the screen that pops up when you download? Which web browser are you using? Any more info you give will help me figure out what's going on for you. I just tested it again myself and it seems to work just fine.
I put all the stuff I want in my inventory but when I hit download to get the stuff, I go to my world 1 file and I can't find level.dat . I use firefox and windows 7. can you help me?

Odd, not sure what could be going on in your case. If you're browsing to your world1 folder, it should show all the files and directories in that folder. Are you seeing anything? Is the file listed as "level.dat" (for "File Name:") when you're picking the location to save the download? If you clicked download and browsed to your world1 folder, you can try just hitting "Save" even if you can't find the level.dat file in that folder.

it shows all the the files and stuff but it doesn't have the save option, only "find" at the bottom and "ok" at the bottom and "cancel"
when i hit the download button, and the save file dot thingy, it doesn't give me a place to save to, just to the download folder. i think that the problem because what i've been doing is like going to the "open with". I'll try chrome

Click the "Help" link in the black box on the inventory editor. It gives the locations of the level.dat file you need to upload.
I had a signature here before, but I seem to have misplaced it..
Thanks for the info.. I'm working to fix this bug.
Is there anything in your inventory? I'm wondering if you're seeing this glitch that Jendon23 pointed out.
