This is a really embarrassing question, I've downloaded the program but don't know how to load a world. How do I load a world? Where are Minecraft worlds saved? Help please! I've read this whole thread and everyone seems to know but me!

1. Load MCMap LIve
2. File > Open World
3. Select which world you want to open
DK, this is an AMAZING app, and I've loved playing around with it. I used it to find a stronghold on my map - I flew around with Zombe's mod pack to load some of the map, and then asked MCMap Live to show me all bookshelves. That got me started in the right place to look. The only problem I had is that because strongholds are underground, it was hard to tell exactly where to start looking. I have two possible solutions:
Allow a complete top-down look
Create a way to show the coordinates for the block your mouse is pointing at
This would either allow me to find the bookshelves by seeing the landmarks that are DIRECTLY over the bookshelves and digging straight down, or I could have used F3 to follow to the correct coordinates.
I like it but you REALLY need to make live players soon. Have like a small steve head over the player on the live and make it an option. But anyways is MY RATE
I love this so much, i just started using it today. It seemed as if when i wanted to find diamond it came up, but after a good 30minute use of it, and after i exited out of it a couple of times, it wasnt finding the diamond anymore.
Does anyone here still use 10.5? My old Mac bit it, so all I've got is 10.7 and Xcode 4, which won't compile anything for 10.5. I want to issue an update but it'll break compatibility with 10.5. I really would not care to have this thread fill up with a million people who can't read, will ignore any notices I put up. How many of you are still using Leopard?
Hangs on Lion after having played with the slider a bit.
Anything you compile w/cocoa (not sure if it has to be 32bits) should work all the way back to Leopard.
Is there a way for you to implement coordinates? I use rei's minimap, which shows your current coordinates, and hunting for things (e.x. a stronghold) would be fantastically easier if you could find your coordinates using MCMaplive.
Please, make an update available with 1.9 PR5 and 1.8.1 ! all the new blocks don't show on my maps :sad.gif: People that don't have Snow Leopard or Lion should just be left behind. Come on now :smile.gif:
Thank you very much. I run a SMP server and people would be more than happy with an updated mapper !

I hope this helps

Just some ideas :smile.gif:
Is there any reason for this?
Super simple, I expected 20 minutes of trying to get this to work, it loaded instantly and I was actually surprised. X D
This helped me find my missing base, I was able to use the search function to find the crafting table at spawn and then find my base.
Thank you for this amazing tool! :biggrin.gif:

Anyway great app! Glad to see there is a Mac-native generator for once!
