You might be interested to know that Minutor v2.1.0 works fine with worlds created with PCMC v1.12-pre6.
I don't know if any new blocks have been added to PCMC v1.12 so I don't know if Minutor's definitions need to be updated at this time.

There are no new blocks in 1.12. But 1.13 will throw everything on its head, all the IDs will be resorted.
So I've been using Minutor for awhile, and it's worked great for the most part. On one world though, whenever I try to create a png, the program will make a gigantic image with the checkered texture for unexplored space and a tiny portion that the game has actually generated. The end result is that I can't open the file in most programs or see my world all at once. Any ideas why this is happening?
Probably there's a stray chunk that's been generated way out in the world by accident, because, you know, Minecraft. So, it's trying to include all that area in the exported file. I think Minutor has an option to only export a certain area of the map, try that. Or open the world in MC Edit (make a backup first) and see if there's a stray chunk way out in the boonies and delete it, save the world and try Minutor again.

To tell them how to live is to prevent them living.
Do you know how to export only portions of the map? Because after checking, it looks like there are a lot of far out chunks in this world, and that would be easier than deleting them all. I wasn't able to find it in the program though.
It has been a while since I've used Minutor, so I didn't recall what options it had. Looks like it can't limit the saved file to a certain area of the map. You might want to try Unmined, which has many more options for exporting.
There are also programs like Cartograph that are built to export maps, but they are a little more difficult to use and might not be updated to the most recent version.
Anybody have problems with Minutor not displaying properly?
I've been running Minutor for years on an HP desktop and even upgraded to a better (for me) GPU.
The GPU is a GeForce GT730.
I've never really had any problems with any version up through v 2.1.2.
I'm currently migrating to a bigger, faster, computer with a Radeon RX-460 and now Minutor doesn't display properly for some reason.
Below are screen captures of the same world from the same height (150) using Minutor 2.1.2 on both machines.
Any ideas?
It seems to me that air is no longer transparent. How is this possible?
Strangely, I just tried my "new" computer again with Minutor 2.1.2. See third image.
Seems to be working now. Must have been a problem with my machine.

I certainly hope someone can fix Minutor to work with 1.13. I've been building a world for many years and mapping it with Minutor. I'd hate to lose all that work.
Please, if anyone hears of a fix, PLEASE post it here.
@Botswana - Remember, Minutor is a computer program. As such, it is maintained and updated - for free - by computer programmers. The programmers are all volunteers, doing this only because they, too, love Minecraft. They all have day jobs and families. They put as much time and effort into Minutor as they can spare.
That being said, 1.13 kinda broke everything - Mojang pretty much rewrote everything in Minecraft, thereby requiring much re-programming by those volunteers.
Don't worry, it's coming - Last time I looked at https://github.com/mrkite/minutor/tree/m1.13 - that's where the programmers are posting and documenting their progress - it was almost finished. Be patient.
How do I select my world once I open up Minutor? Under File, Open World none of my worlds are listed. When I select file open, what folder do i select. Running the program on windows.
Suggest you go to https://github.com/mrkite/minutor/issues/143 (create an account if you don't have one) then select "Watching releases." You'll get an email when it is finished and released.
On the github download page I still see the 1.12 version as latest released version. Should I build the 1.13 version myself? And if so, where can I find the tools to do this (for windows)?
Now if someone would just compile it and post the release.

I'm gutted to discover Minutor, my fave MC tool, won't open 1.13 worlds - it just crashes. Anyone know if a fix might be in the works?
Mintutor now works in 1.13!
MrKite & Mc_Etlam ... I salute you!
Yup. In progress.

Under Help > Settings > Minecraft Location. Should be something like "C:/Users/<username>/AppData/Roaming/.minecraft", I believe.

Good news. A new version of Minutor is coming: https://github.com/mrkite/minutor/pull/148
Thank you to EtlamGit, mrkite and other developers for your work!
Good news indeed! Really need this program back, much kudos to those doing it
