As I suspected, those are screenshots of the Medawatch and not the Medabots inventory. You need to punch the medabot with the medawatch to see the Medabots inventory. In version 0.2.0 the way the watch is used is changed, I did explain in the changelog all the controls for the new system. Be careful when sneaking whilst using it as well as that changes the mode of the watch.
As another note, the out of energy is the same issue, because the medabot doesn't actually have any parts equipped let alone them repaired, which you have done, it doesn't have any energy as a result.
To double check the render, just right click the medabot instead and it can equip the parts.

Well if you have a better method I'd be glad to hear it, this method though allows me to expand the modes and uses of the Medawatch quickiy and easily. So for instance, if I wanted to add "MedaChange" I could just add a new mode, and then I have about 3 more ways to make the Medabot do stuff. Another mode could be combat, I could have the watch do things with other blocks, it's just a very versatile method of doing things.
I gave long thought about what to use to make things happen etc. and a simple right click with the watch opening the watch gui was of the simplest ways to get the watch gui open and would be straight forward. I would prefer to have the watch open the medabot gui through a right click but then that'll interact with the watch gui opening, this is simply the simplest way I thought of giving the watch as many uses as possible.

I hope and plan to have special attacks added to the mod. I would love for there to be unique attacks for each set of armour or even each part, but that might not work out well and will more than likely have to generalise a lot of things. They will however do more than just hit each other eventually. Most attacks will work a lot like how Skeletons can use ranged attacks. I just need to get time to work on it you see. The next update though is focusing more on just adding more Medabots into the mod so there is a wider variety. I will want to add more things than just armours in the next update but at this point it's hard to say what I can get done, when I can do it.

If not then I would like to make a few suggestions:
In the most recent games there are some medarots that are classified as neutral, thus they can be used with either tinpet but if they belong to a specific gender then they wont even show on your inventory if you are assembling a medarot belonging to an opposite gender. With that being said I would like to suggest to indeed make parts gender limited in order to be faithful to the games. (Both that and in order to avoid some weird situations only possible in the anime)
My other suggestion would be a list of medarots that I would like to see in this mod:
To finish I would like to say that I can offer my expertise in regards of modelling, I am capable of texturing besides possessing a slight knowledge in regards of programming (but nothing as advanced as custom mobs yet sadly).
PS: I could offer assistance if you plant to make translations/localizations for other languages as well.

The way your going about updating your mod is perfect, add the Medabots in first then work on the combat style, I enjoy the combat now, when I saw ShadowGingers review and seen the medal and part come off that cow bot I got all giddy lol. Absolutely Amazing.
If I could make a suggestion about the Combat, maybe make it like Pokemods does where it goes into it's own interface and you select the attack you want to use.
For the Medabots I look forward to seeing is Peppercat and some other unique ones like the Minecraft Mobs, maybe some Gundam looking Medabots lol.

Sort of hanging in there, life took a turn for the worst not long after my previous post so haven't worked on the mod since. I'm sorry about that.
Its only just starting to turn around and I've started working on models again but its so slow you have no idea. I'm actually looking at getting a new PC or laptop, one that's good enough to install the latest forge work environment so I could update the mod to 1.12 or something.
I'm glad that there are people here that really want this mod.
@JasonKonvict if you're still here, could you explain how you caused the crash or if you have the crash report thatd be great. Doubtful because of so long ago but if you can, brilliant.
@KitsuneJP that's a nice list and I can't remember what i decided on finally for the gender of bots but I'll be taking that into account and just think it over more and see if there was anything in my code that detailed what I was going to do.

hey there Knight would it be possible to have a config option to ignore gender restrictions for parts as I would love to have the option to make mixed medabot models?
Currently there is no gender restriction on the medaparts because I have that same mentality, I would like to mix all the armours regardless however as KitsuneJP has said it doesn't stay true to the games. I will have to work out a way to allow all people to be happy. If it comes down to a config option that separates it all, then so be it, but it is currently one of the most awkward things to think about. Keeping things sort of canon versus the freedom of play.

Can u put in special attacks like seeker missle or shadow claw with graphics instead of fighting by walking into each other

I just need to know how to remove the bot you use to test fight. The cow bot.
I summoned it to test the fighting of the mod, my bot killed it, now the dead cow bot is just in my world. I wanne delete it. How?
