A quick update on progress:
Added: Red and white rider swords. They both deal 14 damage and can be crafted like an iron sword, but instead of iron ingots as the blade part, use red/white rider ingots!
Added: Red and white rider ingots. They can be crafted with a rider ingot surrounded by red dye or bone meal. They can be used to make the rider swords.
Added: Rider ingot. It can be crafted with iron ingots in an X- shape in the crafting table and diamonds in the remaining spots. It is used to craft the red and white rider ingots.
Added: Alagaesia Mod creative tab with search bar!
Update: I'm experimenting with making dragon models and textures, expect some images soon.
Edit: I'm not very good at modeling, and have found that dragons are very hard to model! I am currently in need of help from a good modeler, so message me if you are interested!
I've added a rider sword for every colour of the rainbow, making the Alagaesia Mod tab look very colourful!

Interesting. Will there be anything to set the different colored dragons apart aside from their color? Or will it boil down to a matter of which color dragon the player wants?
I'm thinking about having each different colour dragon have a different characteristic, so a brown dragon might have larger spikes and more attack power, but less health, but a red dragon might have smaller spikes meaning it has less attack power but more health. This will mean players might not choose dragons by colours, but by whether or not they have more health or attack.

That would be awesome! I'm thinking of adding Zar'roc and Brisingr into the mod soon, so I might need textures for them.
Anyone who helps me make the mod with coding, modeling, textures or anything else will get their name in the credits in the new post I'll make when I release v1.0 (Which won't be for a little while), and I'm thinking of adding rider swords into the mod for anyone who helps (which won't be for a little while as well), for example I would have my green rider sword Kverst in the mod, or anyone who helps with the mod can customize a texture, colour and name for their rider sword.
Quick update on the mods progress:
I've added the Rider Ingot (used to make rider swords and blocks), Dragon Scales (one for each colour dragon I have planned), Dragon Meat, the Rider Ingot Block, and a Rider Sword (I'm fixing a few bugs on this one!)
When I've fixed all of the bugs that I know of then I am thinking of releasing an alpha of the mod so anyone who likes can play it and find bugs for me to fix (I'll say more on this subject in future updates!)
I'm almost ready to release an experimental version of the mod for download (so anyone can go and help me by finding any bugs etc), I just need to add in crafting recipes, creative tabs, and fix one bug!

Thank you for the support! I saw your comment just after I added in the recipes and tab, lol.
There won't be dragons in the version but (read the spoiler if you want to know more about the dragon release and you don't mind spoilers)
I'm adding them next!
Also, there aren't all of the coloured rider swords and the current placeholder doesn't work like a sword (again, read the spoiler)
I'm adding these things after the dragons

Please note this is a test version so there are a lot of bugs and glitches, and I only uploaded this version to get some feedback and bug reports. There are two bugs that I already know about (the Rider Sword doesn't act like a sword and the Rider Ingot Block doesn't have a texture in the inventory or hotbar). If you download the test version then I would recommend using a mod like jei to find crafting recipes if you are curious.
If you find any bugs then please comment on this post to tell me so that I can fix them!
