Since the Shur'tugal Mod source was released why not just use their models where you can?
I wanted this mod to be a little bit different to the Shur'tugal mod, so I didn't really want to use the same dragon models (hence why someone is currently making me a dragon model to use)
I don't know about magic at the moment. I am probably not going to add it to the mod for three reasons:
1: There is already an Ancient Language mod (But I think it's dead)
2: I have no idea how I would even begin to code magic into the mod
3: I have no ideas about how the player would use the magic (you would probably use the chat, but I would still need to expand on that idea)
Maybe when v1.0 is released and dragons and everything else are in the mod I'll have a look at adding magic.
Thank you for your support on the mod, it is always awesome to see people enjoying playing it! About the transparent blocks above the dagger, can you send me a screenshot so I can see what I'm working with?

Ok sorry for the late reply but here is the dagger. The glitches block appears to float above the dagger when you are holding it, but not when it is shown as an item in your inventory or hot bar. Sorry if it's a little hard to see- I tried. Hope this helps- fingers crossed!

these glitches seem like there's a tiny part of your texture that's not fully transparent...

Hmmm... I'll have a look at the texture and see what I can do (Seeing as this is a texture problem I will probably be able to fix it)

Hey just a suggestion, but why not name the rider ingot "Brightsteel" like in the books?
I'm reading the Inheritance books for the second time (I'm currently on Inheritance), and when I was reading Brisingr and got to the part where Eragon forges his sword I realized my mistake too. I'm definitely going to change the name, but I've also been thinking of removing the crafting recipe and making Brightsteel Ore that can be found underground and smelted into the Brightsteel Ingots, thus making the Ingots more like the book in the fact that you don't make them, you find them.
I'm reading the Inheritance books for the second time (I'm currently on Inheritance), and when I was reading Brisingr and got to the part where Eragon forges his sword I realized my mistake too. I'm definitely going to change the name, but I've also been thinking of removing the crafting recipe and making Brightsteel Ore that can be found underground and smelted into the Brightsteel Ingots, thus making the Ingots more like the book in the fact that you don't make them, you find them.

I was also wondering whether, instead of having to dye the ingot before crafting the sword, you have to first craft the sword and then 'dye' the sword with that specific coloured dragon scale? (again, like in the books)

That is a brilliant idea, but I was planning on having the dragons scales be a drop from the dragons, which would mean you would have to kill your bonded dragon to get the sword, but I might think of another way to get the swords dyed using something from the dragons.

Oh and Brightsteel should be super rare, maybe only found in huge holes on the surface of the ground (like in the books, when Rhunön, explaining how difficult it is to come across Brightsteel, describes how it had only ever been recorded in one place- Du Weldenvarden, when a star fell there, millennia ago)

That's a awesome idea, I'm going to add the updates to the Brightsteel (including this suggestion) after I have finished making the dragon textures. (I've made the black and blue dragon textures so far)

O.M.G.... That is probably one of the best dragon models I have seen so far... so excited for the dragon release!
