Does animals should drop leather (and leather maybe will be craftable to armor?)?
does ridable mobs will need saddles or not? if you want to explain why then just post
plus, the mod team started importing the models to tabula so we could make mob animations in the mod, so here are some poses...

Definitely both,also because off game balancing. For example mammoths would need more materials to make them saddles as they would be a better mount.

this time the pole is in a link because its a realy long one and i dont want it to disturb the thread, and i want everyone that vote to vote because this is a realy important decision for the mod develoment!
as you probably guessed already, the main mob we are currently working on in the mod is the smilodon, why?
because i love smilodons! sorry,because this is the "test" mob, and after he will be finished (because he have lots of features) i believe the other mobs will be devolped quicker.
so the question i asked myself, what mob well be developing after the smilodon? and i answered myself, ill let the cool guys hat support my mod to decide.

sooooo..... updated models for the american lion and the cave hyena (poses, skulls and stuff)
permafrost and fossils process is now decided:
permafrost will generate in ANY cold biome, in large groups of 15-35 blocks and a bit under the ground, it will be quite rare to find permafrost, but when you find it, win win all around. permafrost can only be mined with a stone pickaxe or better, when you mine it, youll have 40% of getting ice, 40% presents of getting permafrost, and 20% of getting frozen animal tissue, wich you will need... to get some DNA....
