I don't code myself (never had the patience for it) but from what you are saying, this appears to be a very ambitious mod. Over 9,000 dimensions? You are essentially making a video game. If you were an experienced programmer with several projects under your belt, then I'd obviously say "cool, nice idea" and move on. But you say you are starting out, and already you are attempting to create a very ambitious mod. Start small, then work your way up.

Sorry I wasn't being clear, the Multiverse in the show consists of over 9,000 dimensions. The mod will most likely only have four or five. I was just stating how many dimensions there were in the show. This mod won't be super ambitious. Just a few dimensions and monsters.

UPDATE: On Tuesday I had a coder apply and I finally contacted them yesterday. Yesterday they resigned due to difficulties with coding that I will now add to the main post.
I might end up making the mod myself using tutorials.
Well, I'm decent at textures, would you like me to recraete them in .JSON format as best I can?
The problem is is that I've tried other model-creating software designed mainly for Minecraft like Techne or MrCrayFish's model creator and they just can't make such detailed models. Look at the hand on my Journal model or the body of Bill Cipher.
We may be out of luck then because you cannot convert from obj to miencraft JSON files without paying 7.19~ for Cubik Pro.
Well, like I said, it's possible to use .obj models in mods. The lead coder for the Dalek Mod uses Blender models pretty often. Would a .dae, .ply, .stl, .3ds, .fbx, or a .x3d model work?

I'm not sure if I should start the mod by myself (using tutorials).

Ahhh, my mistake. OK then, carry on.

I'll help you. How will we contact? Skype isn't an option.
There's this one website that is used by teams in gorup projects like this. It's called Slack.
Do you know how to add .obj files to a mod or willing to learn?
I'm pretty sure you aren't able to do that in 1.8.
Actually, yes you can, with this addon, if this is what you are talking about?
Yeah, sort of. I think Forge can use .obj files but is a bit more difficult than .json models. And the addon's download doesn't work anymore.
Well, I'm decent at textures, would you like me to recraete them in .JSON format as best I can?

No idea.
So would you like to try programming for this mod?
Yeah.
I've done some research and I thought that you need to have the bought version to export files...?
