I am currently working on a mod, and wanted a bit of feedback, bug findings, and just to show you all what TougherTools can do.
I will enclose demo versions here, for your testing pleasure.

SPELLS:
TougherTools spells is a magic based part of toughertools.
It contains 15 spells, 6 crafting components, and 2 Mysterious "Hyper-orbs"
Spells:
Spectator: Invisibility, Night vision, resistance, weakness, mining fatigue. Craft: Blank slate, ferm.spider eye, air rune, glass block.
==Cannot be seen* or touched. (*except by mobs...) , but cannot touch.
Rain: Makes it rain for ~5 seconds Craft: Blank slate, water rune, water bucket, and blaze powder.
Shout: A vicious battle cry, Strength, speed and jump boost. Craft: Blank slate, fire rune, earth rune, ender pearl.
Heal: Heals you. duh! Craft: Blank slate, water rune, glowstone dust, golden apple
Juggernaut:Extreme slowness, but great strength and resistance Craft: Blank slate, earth rune, iron ingot, blaze powder
Diffuse:Removes ALL potion effects. From mostly any mod. Good or bad. 128 potion effects are removed.
==Craft: Blank slate, air rune, empty bottle, empty bucket.
Whirlwind:Speed and jump boost. What more can I say? Craft: Blank slate, air rune, sugar, air rune
Fireball & Skull:Launches a small fireball / wither skull. Craft: see Crafting section (Wither/Fireball)
Exploding/Imploding soul:Launches you towards/away from where you're looking. Craft: see Crafting section (exploding/imploding)
Explode: Blows you up in a slightly buggy explosion. Craft: Blank slate, fire rune, tnt, flint&steel
Sunlight/Moonlight:Changesit to noon/midnight in the blink of an eye. Also, physically improbable. Craft: see crafting section (day/night)
Ender junction:Sneak-right click to set position, Right-click to teleport. Craft: Blank slate, water rune, ender pearl, ender eye.
Crafting:
Blank spell slate: smelt a piece of stone, or just craft one. basic component for everything.
orb: Just an orb. OR(b) is it? (4 stone blocks, one slate in a "+" pattern)
Runes: Fire, Water, Air, Earth. (4 slates and one of (water bucket, flint&steel, bucket, grass block))
Wither: Spell slate, earth rune, fire rune, wither skull
Fireball: Spell slate, fire rune, blaze powder, fire charge
Exploding: Spell slate, air rune, gunpowder, orange dye.
Imploding: Spell slate, air rune, gunpowder, light-blue dye
Day: Spell slate, air rune, earth rune, glowstone
Night: Spell slate, air rune, earth rune, water rune
Hyper-Orbs
These are special. These are...
Magic.
Hyper-Orb
Activates ~1 minute of HYPER, on the first spell used after it's put in your inventory. First priority.
crafted with 8 golden apples, and an Orb.
Uber-Orb
Activates ~2 minutes of HYPER mode.
crafted using 7 purple dye, 1 Hyper-Orb, and one nether star.
==HYPER==
Allows x amount of time when a spell will not drain from its mana reserves, and may rejuvenate its mana(don't quote me on that).
Can be used for any spell, so BE WARNED. You dont want to be able to set it to noon infinitely for 2 minutes, do you?

Post-Script: I was trying to work on a 1.8 version, but 1.8 needs a model system that just isn't working, so no 1.8 versions.
