Ok, because I have no life (thanks, pandemic >.> ) I've already got a gist of the design. You can find everything around Howell and Brighton in Livingston County, MI on Google Maps. Here's some pictures:
Those pics will work, I'll take a look around and see what I could implement. By the way, the new link should be working on the first page. I also posted some more details on the mod/addon.
Love to see these 69kV multipart insulators both in brown and white as well as the bowl insulators with that three phase support below the line as well as the 4-5 disc suspension/hanging insulators, it would be nice to have a 69kV grid. Btw these are from Alberta Canada. Just an idea. As well as some colors for the poles. This is a super detailed mod can't wait for a full release. There are not many 69kV lines here anymore but I'd like to see the longer and shorter crossbars in use and the glass and porcelain brown discs. https://www.google.ca/maps/@49.2849438,-112.2251715,3a,37.5y,334.89h,91.01t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sS2Oy241mZ5CsmU3ejoLx3g!2e0!7i13312!8i6656 for some brown ones and longer crossbars if that helps. As well this link for some shorter crossbar and hanging insulator that are 8 discs(138kV) and on the 69kV line some lower 25kV support.
Alberta is actually one of the big references I'm using, I've always been intrigued by the 69kV and 72kV lines up there. I've done some transmission already, but it might be a bit before I can get some more of that 69kV done, and it is absolutely on the list. In the meantime, here's some other screenshots of what I've added on the distribution side-
Those are really impressive models, I really like the equipment and the Hendrix insulators. I've never been a fan of fiberglass crossbars without braces but wow does it look good, congrats. Plus that's cool to hear your interested with Alberta powerlines as I've wanted a mod that looked a lot like them. The 69kV and 72kV lines are by far my favorite but are now few and far between, with the last remaining ones being rebuilt and or upgraded to 138kV well I speak for he 69kV grid at least. If you need any high resolution references for poles check out TongGlen14's Flickr page he posts power line photos not just from Alberta but other places like BC and parts of the US. https://www.flickr.com/photos/powerline64/albums/
Yep I know Tony, I post some stuff on Flickr as well. I'm not that big of a fan of the fiber arms either, but with how common they are I kinda had to add them lol.
WOW that's so impressive. I've been waiting so long for something like that to build a powerline grid with. This will be worthwhile. So close to the real thing.
I'm fairly certain those are the only one's in the mod right now. As for the wires. Did you get all the dependencies and optional dependencies for the mod, included should have been industrial wires which needs immersive engineering, however I see that is installed. You need to use the relay blocks in industrial wires that have been made invisible. The mod creator is creating far more powerlines than just what you see in your inventory so I'd probably just stay tuned to see when an update comes out. Hopefully this helps.
not sure what you mean sorry, this is a brand new mod, it is separate from the old one that was for 1.7.10. It is only in beta stage so there is limited content you just have wait, itll be worth it.

Yay, it worked! lol
Oy, why did it post twice? Sorry.

Nice! Glad I could help! I'll take a look at the link.
I just tried the "Pack Download" link and it's broken.
That was weird... Mediafire doesn't seem to be working. Dropbox link in its place should work.
Got it downloaded and it is working! Thanks!

Would love be a help in this project and a collaborator in creating a massive powerline mod.

Oh yeah I follow you lol. Anyways good work hope to see another update soon cannot wait.
Nice progress! I also prefer the wooden ones, as they look more rustic. I just like the old look. /shrug Great work so far!
Just an example of what the 69kV multiparts might look like.

Hello so i saw the instructions of the mod i did it and it didn't give me all of the power lines and i also cant add wires

How come in his updates he has posted he had more powerlines??
AAAAAAHthis is giving me a headache now its confusing

On that note, apologizes of this sounds impatient. But will there be another update soon
