It works now.
The "Vampire Lord" mob looks cool, the Minion Babys are cute, and for I spawned some Lords and Vampires inside a Village, some Villager-looking Vampire-Hunters spawned.
Those Guys drop Pitchforks. The only thing is, the Arms are almost invisible. I think its because of the Skin not matching with the Model.
Before I became a Vampire in Survival, there where Vampires, and the Hunters where only near and inside Villages. When I became a Vampire, I stopped meeting NPC Vampires. Lotts of Hunters startet spawning everywhere in all Worlds even after removing CustomMobSpawner and Mo'Creatures even in new generated Worlds.
Now, that im at Lv4 they are more Dangerous than Zombies and Skeletons ever where. They outnumber everything. About 2/3 of what I meet in non-superflat Worlds are Hunters. In my Superflat world, they make about 45%.
I also had another Idea for a Vampire related Item.
A throwable Potion that spawns 15-20 Bats. The only Use I can currently think of is for PVP and for Trolling.
Confusing other Players and escaping from a Fight by use it along with Bat Transformation making it impossible to tell which Bat is the Player and which are real Bats.
It could be made from full Blood Bottles. But take your Time. I dont expect something like this in the next Version.
I hope there will be Coffins in the next update. So there is a Way to sleep throu the day.
Its a bit annoying to wait until Night to be able to go out.
You are already working on Coffins, if I remember right.
I imagine them Acting as Beds (setting Spawnpoint, allowing the Player to Sleep through the Day) and having a opening and closing animation and sond effect similar to a double chest when entered or left.
I also hope for multiple diffrent Versions of the normal NPC Vampires. Like diffrent Looks and female ones. Like there are Villagers in diffrent colors...
But I said most of it already...

I just took the Minecraft Noob test! Check out what I scored. Think you can beat me?!
Roughly 95% of Minecraft
players hate Villagers and would be very happy if they were removed. If
you are one of the 5% who actually like villagers, copy this into your
signature and hope it never happens. ~EnderDude124
May I suggest a weakness effect for Vampire players from Level 1 to 3 while in the Sun?
So it is less of a shock for new players to take damage in Sunlight out of nothing, for it was already a benefit to go out at night and staying inside at daytime before.
It could start weak but increase per level.

Have seen your own minions yet? I think they look even cuter. (You get them during vampire rage/vampire transformation, but they are removed in the newer snapshots)
The villager-looking vampire hunters aren't (visually) finished yet, that's why they look weird.
I will investigate the hunter spawn rate further (for now reduce the spawn rate in the config file under balance at
VAMPIRE_HUNTER_SPAWN_PROBE, if you find any better fitting value, tell us)
The potion idea sounds funny for multiplayer, I will add that to the list.
Mistadon is working on the coffin, but it's a lot of work. Maybe I will add a temporary item, in case is is not finished soon.
Do you have an Idea how Cheap the Bat Transformation is going to be, and how its gonna be implemented?
Bats are small, fast nd therefore hard to hit. But if they get hit, they mostly die instantly. But they can Fly.
I still think it would be great to have it just like that.
While it Bat form, the Player would have the Model, the Texture, the Health, the Resintance and the Hitbox of a Bat and wouldnt be able to do anything but Fly, Bite and transform back. No duration, no cooldown.
Duration would Suck because the Player would like run out of Bat-Time while in mid air and then die from falldamage.

If the Player still takes Sundamage while a Bat, it will almost instantly kill him. So there would be about no Point in Flying during Daytime. This would make it pointless to be a Bat during the Day. So why limit Bat time further?
I see the Bat transformation as a Way to travel fast and get Blood from Villages that are far away.
If a Vampire with a higher Level than 3 wants to feed from Villagers, he needs to build his House next to a village, making his Source of Villager Blood beeing three villages or less because there is no way to get far away and get back home before it gets daytime.
This makes a high chance of spawning more and more hostile Hunters in those Villages making it harder and harder to feed and survive.
Bat Transformation could be used to travel faster and therefore further, removing the Need of having five Outposts between my Spawnpoint (which hasnt changed since I first spawned for I didnt Craft a Bed bc of the dissadvantage of sleeping through the Night) and the nearest Village.
A Duration and Cooldown for the Bat Transformation would only lessen this Advantage and depending on how long the Duration and the Cooldown is, it has the Potential to compleatly remove it.
I wouldnt mind if the Vampire would automaticly transform back when the Sun rises and wasnt able to transform until the Sun sets again, but dont make the Bat Trasformation least like 10 seconds and then have a cooldown of 30 seconds.
Hope you understand my point

@TheBeastCH
Ok I'm persuaded, you have some good points
I just started my own survival map to get a feel what needs to be improved and to find out how some stuff turns out in survival (Only problem is I don't have enough time to play and code this mod, so I'm glad you give so much detailed feedback)
There should be some kind of armor that makes hunters unable to see if ur a vampire (Unless you feed or attack)
Sounds cool, I will add that to the TODO list, but I think making you completely invisible would be a little overpowered, maybe it could just reduce their sight distance.
Something that needs a Look: The Nightvision makes it hard to tell if its Night or Day, and what is Shadow and what not.
I just died from Sunlight because I couldnt see the Diffrence between the Part of the Cave where its dark and safe mining Coal and Iron, and the dangerous Part lit by Sunlight.
Maybe makeing the Sunlight appear extremly Bright in a Contrast to the normal Textures of Dark Places... and the Night... So there would be a Possibility to see the Diffrence even with the Night Vision.

I'm not sure if I'm able to make the sunlight extremly bright.
The sundamage system is subject to change anyway. The plan is to remove damage for the first few levels and instead use weakness and maybe nausea. For the higher levels, we could maybe use the same thing for the first seconds, so you only get damage when you stay in the sun to long.
The bat transformation is halfway done, the model and camera change, is implemented, only the speed and the weakness are left to do.
The coffin will probably take since it is pretty complicated and Mistadon doesn't have much time to work on it.
Another thought I had, was to add support for my other mod "Second Screen for Minecraft", which allows you to show information from Minecraft on you mobile app as well as allowing you to observe and control redstone and other blocks. The idea I had, was to add some kind of manual there, so for example one tab in the mobile app would always show you information how to level up to the next vampire level or show you the cooldown timer of your skills or the level at which you unlock certain skills ... .
Does that sound like something you would use or rather not? (Long term goal might be to also add support for other mods)
Some more information would be useful, otherwise we can't help.
Please post the content of your .minecraft/logs/latest.txt after the game crashes here (preferably within a spoiler).
In case you can't find that, please tell us.
By the way I can really recommend you Minecraft Launchers like http://multimc.org/, which allow you to easily manage your mods and
different Minecraft instances. It also offers a "Upload" button after a
crash to easily send crash reports (just post the link you get here)
Ok getting ready to release the next version. Only some testing and bugfixing is left to do.
We could use some help for that. If you want to test it a bit, use this file http://goo.gl/8eYlV8 or even pm me so we could (text) chat over skype or so.

@TheBeastCH Sorry, did not see you post.
The current plan of the bat transformation is pretty much the same as you described. I think a few others had similar ideas as well.
Not sure about no duration/cooldown though, maybe we will implement a warning or so before it ends, but I don't know yet, we will see
