Just a tip, try not to constantly reply to the thread, as it makes some moderators assume that you are bumping the thread to get attention(even if you don't have that intention, the mods could think that you do.)
but what it needs is what was in the elder scrolls originally,
the ability to gain loot from mobs, both good and bad, and level up an ability
i would like to see that in this mod aswell as some magic of some sort.

happy modding!
Thanks for the feedback! Right now, the mobs (the mobs I've added, not vanilla), have chances to drop bad, and good loot. The chances of getting better loot are around 1-5% though, however, it's not to rare to a point where you won't find any. In fact, I've found a piece of loot that has a 1% chance to drop once.
As for leveling up abilities, it may be something we will look into in the future, but for now, we are focusing on adding more content to where we can start adding things in different dimensions, and then add different dimensions.
As for magic, Beta 2 is nicknames 'Power of Magic', in which it will start laying down the basics of the magic we will incorporate (it won't be advanced magic; but rather simple magic).
A few configuration updates, plus experimental worldgen feature (our structures should spawn less often when other "structure" spawning mods are installed). A lot of behind the scenes Beta 2 work as well.
Changelog:
+ Added several worldgen options to the config
* [Technical] Changed versionchecker.json location. Update alerts should work properly from here on out.
* [Beta 2] Snow Blaze half-completed
* [Beta 2] Projectiles finished. Complete with textures and all.
If you enjoy the mod, leave a comment! It helps us so much to know that people are enjoying the mod, and gives us a ton of motivation to continue developing it every day.
A new poll will be added in a few minutes to get some feedback as to whether stick with developing a 1.7.10 version, or go ahead and update to 1.8. I've already started the 1.8 update process, although, it will take some time. If people would rather see a 1.8 version rather than 1.7.10, I can easily make updating to 1.8 a priority.
In other development news, Beta 2 is pretty much complete. We have a few bugs to iron out, as well as a few art resources to wait on, but other than that, Beta 2 is pretty solid. And if I haven't said it enough, I'd love to have some extra help regarding artwork (textures/models)! We'll be able to push updates faster, and get the mod to a complete state faster!
Rather large adventure mod compared to the actual following it gets - I think I'll keep an eye on this
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Also, I've flipped shovel textures for Tinker's Construct and ExtraTiC for a more realistic-looking animation, check here: http://www.minecraft...hovel-textures/
Instead of releasing two versions a 1.7.10 and 1.8 version of Beta 2, we are just going to release Beta 2 as 1.8 only. Updating to 1.8 is a huge task, and something that we have been working on constantly for the last couple weeks.
We are planning on releasing a few "incomplete" or "alpha" Beta 2 versions to get a 1.8 version out to be tested. These versions should be for the most part complete, although, a few world generation features may be missing, although all Beta 2 features will be included.
After we get a 1.8 version out and stable, development should start to go much faster. The updating process took a long time, and a lot of code rewrites.
We are also looking for more texture artists and modelers! If you are interested in either, please let me know.

I wonder if I should use this or not... Says starting might be difficult, I already suck at survival. xD (I'm more of a mess-around-in-creative-mode kind of person) It does sound fun though... I might install it after I get settle in or something in one of my saves. Or just suck it up and go from the beginning. *le shrug* I'll download it either way.

Mind posting the crash report? If you've gotten rid of it, you can find it in your minecraft folder.
The five new staffs:
An example of the charging system of the Staffs.
Developer builds will be released to a select amount of people who would like to test new features.
Anyways, feedback about these teasers as well as the entire mod is much appreciated

Potentially fixed a bug causing Banshee's to crash. It's hard for me to tell if I fixed any issues as I'm not having any.
Changelog:

* [Beta 2] Work on Goblins and Snow Blaze mobs
Report any bugs you find to our issue tracker!
Also included is a new, cold dwelling creature.
Feedback upon the overall mod, along with the new features in Beta 2 are much appreciated :).
Thanks for the response :).
We are trying to get Beta 2 pushed sometime next week if we can sort out all the art and such.

BTW, if you don't know, I do some coding for this :-)
You will have to guess how I voted.

It is also something I consider to be small right now. There is a whole new world to experience down the road...

Amazing mod!
Glad you like it
This mod looks really cool! It would be great if you could teach us how to do some of these more advanced things in your modding tutorial!
Does this require forge and does this work on Servers?
