My pack is kinda focused on a tough survival playstyle with progression, so this might fit into pretty well actually. I'll make it work, i have to, i need this xD
Nope, sorry :(. You just have to be more careful. Me allowing the moving of the buildings would be kinda hard too. Since I'd have to check which blocks are still there, which you altered. You can remove all the blocks, the npcs would just still have their spawn locations. I may in the future allow you to move spawn points of npcs, but not the buildings themselves. I could add a confirmation popup too? So you're less likely to accidentally make the mistake.
Okay that is ashame, but hearing the idea of maybe the spanws you can move is nice, because I was thinking, say you build a townhall already and you find this mod and you are like "what, how, this mod is awesome, this mod is life" but you already build a townhall, so you are kinda stuck.
With a townhall made of coal blocks that you like and the nice HF townhall that you like to, but you prefer the coal townhall.
It would be cool to move them to other places.
Even if you need to build the vanilla HF townhall or other HF build and you talk to someone there and say "you didn't pay rent on time, now move to this skyscraper made out of diamonds" and just destroy the old building.
And replying on the popup notification, this is actually a good idea aswell. When you want to place the build you want, you see the ghost building but the problem I saw is i could not actually see how big it was, or what blocks it will replace.
So the popup is a nice idea, you place the build and you get the popup the ghost build is in place and can't move but while you are deciding to place or not to place, you can freely move and check to ghost build out if you like it or not.

I've just done this! If you want to give it a try, it's in build #55+. I really like it :D. Basically your first click, freezes the building in place. Then if you sneak+right click it will confirm the position, or you can right click again, which will cancel that location. I made it sneak to confirm because you're more likely to accidentally place it if you had to right click (might forget to hold shift to cancel, so works better this way).

The carpenter seems to be having difficulty building the General store. I have place the blueprint on a flat area, but the carpenter keeps teleporting into the ground (I can hear him taking damage). This is with build: Harvest-Festival-1.10.2-0.5.0-74. This is what I tried so far with no luck (on SSP and Dedicated server):
- Tried waiting to see if anything gets built. Three days with him being stuck in the ground.
- Tried waiting for sun to set and sleeping. He stays stuck in the ground.
- Tried bailing him out and then sleeping. Sometimes he goes home and comes back, but then just gets stuck in the ground again.
- Tried just placing a new Yulif in creative. Both proceed to get stuck.
- If you get him "unstuck" he stays halfway into the ground and does nothing.
Looks like he is doing something now. Seems it is just the sort of basement that he keeps struggling with. Maybe because he keeps trying to be a certain amount of blocks away from where he is building?
Edit: It is the basement that he keeps getting stuck with. Once that is built it all runs smoothly again.

Making a mod like that is a huuuuge amount of work Just install forge for 1.10.2 and this mod and play it.
It's easy to do if you use the Curse launcher

There are still some improvements, and a few issues to solve, but it is mostly playable.

The NPCs should be able to guide you through the other basics. But this is what you'll need to know to get started.

First of all G.R.E.A.T. mod, love everything about it, perfect for me and what i want to do.
So I kinda messed up, and placed one of the buildings down in my survival world, no bugs, it is just in the wrong spot.
Is there a way to remove it or move it?
