Only certain mobs need attack animations, ones like snakes and scorpions.

How's this Capybara? I took the model straight from the sketch and the colors straight from the picture that was with the sketch

OMG, it's awesome! Just one question... Roughly how big is the model? It's a bit hard to tell from the picture.
Oh and I have two naturally spawning buildings done. I'm doing a third one and once it's done I'll post a few pics.

We can tweak the size in the code.

I'm thinking about making a banner for the mod, that way more people can know about it and we can get more help(if we need it, I'm unsure...) and to let more Minecrafters know about it. Could I use the two models you have done in the banner?
I'm going to start modeling in a bit, beginning with the snake. It may take me a bit to reply if I get really into it. xD

Also, should we add a special type of villager or other mob or something to act as the pet shop owner? That could serve as a way to buy things.

Possibly, I wanted to focus more on tank animals and other strange animals you can have as pets. (Like the Capybara) But maybe we could add some new textures to the dogs. Perhaps keep it true to Vanilla MC though and give them wolf like textures, or maybe some other kind of wild dog perhaps? I just like the idea of having a wild dog rather than a regular one... I don't know why, it just might be more my style

Good to see someone's interested! The idea was really random it just popped into my head one day and I thought it was mod worthy. I love animals and thought Minecraft lacked pets, other than the wolves and cats of course. But you can't do much with them other than fight along side them, so I thought I'd see if anyone was interested in helping to make this mod.

Take this diamond as a token of my thanks for reading all that, even though you really didn't have to and it was all just none interesting non-sense. Pretty much.

Yeah, it's a mod. A lot Ike Thaumcraft and Blood Magic. Except you get your magic from flowers
