PSA about the mod
the hype for the mod is mostly dead. every so often i get the occasional forum visitor (and i do appreciate that you guys are still interested !!) but i hate looking at this mod. this started as a simple, fun project that i wanted to do over the summer and quickly spiraled out of control with people hyping up a piece of scrap work, making mod reviews and treating it as an official, this-is-the-real-deal mod. it never was that. it never was meant to be anything more than the starter for something way more, and unfortunately many people couldnt see that.
i guess a lot of that is my fault. when dealing with a fandom of mostly children, (no offense !! but in looking at the actual demographics) and making something that is also targeted towards kids (in looking at the demographics of who plays minecraft) theres really not much good to expect if you dont take extra special care with things, and even then, theres only so much you can do.
but i quickly got sick of this because of the community. i hate being pressured to add in either completely irrelevant features, or features that i wouldnt know how to do, or features that would be game breaking or ruin the central aspect of the mod, or features that would cost me actual money to work with. i was sick of being pressured to do so very much. i was sick of people treating the mod like trash because it didnt have this or that or because it was in alpha or the models were all the same or they didnt have animations (because they again, could not realize this mod was a WIP). i was sick of all the bad stuff that came with making this mod and i didnt particularly like being misgendered or bad mouthed because some people werent happy with what i had to show.
anyway. i wanted to make this a reality, i really did. and i still do !! its really impressive that the mod has had 3000+ downloads (last i checked my media fire counter) and nearly 30000 forum views. like, that still blows me away. but i really, truly cant keep working with this mod (i lost the files for it anyway lmao). and tbh !! who knows !! i really want to pick this project back up in the near future.
i cannot make any promises; there is a change i will continue working on a wings of fire mod, and there is a chance i won't. so please, dont assume one way or the other.
all i know is that id want it to use a different name.
im leaving this download link up for anyone who would like to use it; again, its not an actual mod. its scraps of a wip mod so please, dont treat it like something that it isnt.

Find randomly generated buildings (skywing arena only one, etc.)
Make it compatible with biomes o plenty mod and make it a technic launcher modpack
As I said, just SUGGESTIONS. I hope you don't feel overwhelmed. I'm not your manager, you can do what ya want. XD

Scavengers (humans!) Like @DJ_Pinkie_Pie said, Should just RUN away from the dragons... Scavengers should be a delicacy >:) For the dragons Of course. There should be random words that the dragons' say, thus making it just giberish... unless u have a special item >:)
I think the dragons should be bigger... and should be hostile toward humans ( scavengers ) >:)
The models on here aren't the updated models I kept forgetting to update the pictures
They both stand at a little taller than 2 blocks, and I plan on making them neutral, once I can figure out why they aren't doing anything when you smack them ^-^

I still have to fix the Mudwing's tail and texture, maybe remake the Seawing, and of course do all the other dragons.
A lot of people have been asking for the option to choose between being a scavenger and a dragon, and with powers and stuff, and I'm not sure if I plan on doing that...it'd be a lot of complicated coding, and the dragon player model would be very small and simple. (I think the Morph mod paired with this one should do alright, and this is assuming you mean something a bit like Verdana's pony mod :D)
I'm working on dragon scale armor right now, but I haven't gotten around to coding them (currently trying to implement the different dragon tribes)
I might make an RPG mode, it was a far-fetched idea of mine, but I'm afraid it'd be weird...with it, it'd make the mod more branched off (if that makes sense?) like making a mod on space pigs, and then making an offshoot of farmer pigs (idk XD) and I don't want to make the RPG mode mandatory because the mod mainly just focuses on the world of Phryrria, so maybe in the future like the player models.
I plan on giving the dragons fire, icewing breath, rainwing venom, etc, (and making a potion of freezing and venom) but I'm still far away from that
I'm still waiting on a response from a thread (I had a few questions) and then I plan on building the structures, probably the Summer palace first, as for only one...hm, it'd be like the strongholds but one per world instead of three? I mainly plan on making them rare, so that way you can still find them but they're not nigh impossible to find, unless I added something like eyes of ender.
The thought of biomes o plenty never crossed my mind, maybe in a later update I'm of course still in the alpha stage
And for technic... well, I've never really understood technic and mainly prefer to mix up my own batches of mods (sometimes I play with the void's wrath) but technic focuses a lot on technological stuff, and I'm more straightforward and down to earth ^-^ so like a lot of other things, maybe in a future update

Very cool! i tried the mod! when i smacked the dragons they are just like "casual" about it! Lol! I was just like what the crap? why dont they attack? then i read the post about why it isn't hostile when u smack them.

Make better models. Not trying to be mean, just try to make them bigger and look more like the dragons (special features and stuffz)
Make an option to be a scavenger or dragon.
Dragon: Choose what tribe, maybe eventually colors. If you are a dragon you can find wild scavengers they will be timid towards you like ocelots.
Scavenger: Tame dragons, choose gender, kill dragons (if even possible XD)
Dragon scale ARMOR?? hmmmmm?????
make it like an RPG??????? Like it follows the story but you can mess it up XD
dragon powers yayyyy (fire, icewing deathbreath, rainwing venom)
