this is a known bug that hoop has been trying to fix for a while now. and its not as simple at adding @SideOnly(Side.CLIENT) as he has tried that and it did nothing to fix it.

First off, event.getSide().isClient()? That is not good coding practice. If you are using that you need to figure out how to use proxies.

Secondly, I will talk to Hoop to see how the particle is being handled, I believe this is in an Entity class, at which point using a proxy will not work anyway.

If you are using the latest version,you can just craft these elemental eggs by surrounding an egg(not the chicken one)with the corresponding elemental shard(Which obviously drops from witches).For example,for a fire egg,surround an egg with fire shards.

Witches spawn in temples that generate anywhere in the world.If you are REALLY having trouble finding one,you can change the spawn rate of the temples to whatever you like in the config file.

I'm not sure why the eggs not turning into a pet egg, but I can tell you that the witches naturally spawn in their respective structures (ex. Lightning witch in lightning temple).

It can randomly take control of a hostile mob and make it fight other hostile mobs for you.

I'm really love what this mod offers but having to disable almost all of the witches is disheartening. I hope this can be addressed before more witches etc are added.

Hey, guys, anyone with the server crash, I've talked to Hoop (and you can trust me, I textured most of these witches! :D), and he's not 100% sure about how to fix this server bug. It is caused by Elemental Witches on its own, and I'm not sure how to fix it, to be honest. I apologize for the inconvenience, but no new witches will be released (from what Hoop told me) until the bug is fixed, as the mod is not meant to be clientside/LAN only.

For anyone with coding experience, feel free to offer suggestions here, just message him on here before you contact him on some other more personal method. The server bug is unfixable until we think of a way to do it, so we would deeply appreciate some help. Thanks!

I don't model, only texture. HoopaWolf models. However, the "thick" part is just because they're supposed to be a bit bigger than normal witches. As for the weird part, he's corrupted by darkness and evil. It'd make sense for him to be strange. ^^
