I've mentioned the Super Flare ability earlier in the thread, it's definitely being added. However I think I'll keep it closer to canon and just cause a MASSIVE explosion(With configurable damage to land) I do like the idea of extending the recharge to longer than a minecraft day, since it will do a lot of damage and otherwise could be used to farm bosses, which isn't what I want, it shouldn't be used willy nilly.

The 1.8 version isn't out yet, the 1.6.4 version is. There are plenty of tutorials on the web about how to install mods, it's just a quick google search away. Also, why did you attach the minecraft logo?
Also, I haven't played the 1.6 version so how will the Flash work in this mod? Will it be a speed toggle(like, press a key to toggle it up, and another key to toggle it down) or will it just be hitting a key and getting a major speed boost?

Anyway, I know I said that the preview would be out today, but in testing the final version I discovered a couple of bugs that will really detract from the gameplay, and since I'm going on a camping trip for my birthday, it'll be a couple more days before I can fix it (also I haven't textured Star Sapphire's pants yet, so yeah). Anyway, I'll still be around to answer questions and stuff, but won't be able to work on the mod for a bit. Sorry! I'll make it up to you guys with a speedy second update after this one!
I like this idea. The Golden Age could just have superman have super speed, strength and a super jump(faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive, able to leap tall buildings in a single bound) and then the Silver Age could add in his other powers such as heat and x-ray vision, freeze breath, super breath and a strength increase. Bronze Age could have a strength and speed increase, and then Pre-Crisis could just have him like, really OP(because let's face it, Superman is really OP) and also add the Super Flare(even though that's in the new 52, but still XD).
I have a suggestion. Maybe you could add in a command to give potential and mega potential points? The reason I say this, is if someone's making an adventure map, or a mod showcase or something and they want to fully show off all of the features of the mod, this would make that easier.
Thanks! The lantern powers are really cool, can't wait until you add more constructs. Only one problem, my ring ran out of power and I don't know how to get the lantern block in survival mode. Is there a way or do you have to spawn it in? Also how do you remove it after it is placed? It seems to be unbreakable.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, I'm installing the mod like I would any other, but when I open up Minecraft it isn't there.
Edit: Nevermind, just realized I was on 1.7.10 forge. XD My mistake.
Edit 2: So I've been playing around in creative for a while, and just killing a bunch of zombies I had pop out of a dispenser so I could get points, and after playing for a while, I thought of a few suggestions.
Suggestion 1: Maybe have a way to get some points back? I accidentally clicked on Alien Heritage and lost a bunch of points, and I couldn't think of a way to get them back.
Suggestion 2: Capes. I was looking at the other armour in the mod, such as Batgirl and Supergirl, and I was wondering if 3D armour was possible? I think it would just look cool to have the capes on the suits that have capes.
Also, a bug I found. I've only used the GL armour for a lantern so far, and I came across this texture bug I decided to screenshot. It's in the attachments.
Also, I'm loving the detailed textures(especially the Flash, I love his New 52 suit). IMO, they're the best out of all the other superhero mods, and this is by far my favourite mod.
The next version will have a reset, sorry, I should've just took out the alien one! Capes are planned, I want supergirl to have an actual skirt, I'm slowly getting better at modeling. Most of the textures that are still in the folder but not in the mod are by Wulfyk, leftover from last time, and I agree, they're awesome

As much as I'd like to for compatability with the other superhero mods, several of the things I'm doing are 1.8 exclusive, and it'd honestly just be too much work to downgrade. Eventually they'll catch up!

Oh one more suggestion. Maybe could you add some sort of manual in form of ingame book? just to let player "how to" with mod. I liked how you used my ring icon as template for rest of rings and good job on those armors. I guess some preview would be in order...

Found another bug. I was testing the new version of the mod, and when I use the command to give myself potential, it shows up on the menu, but I can't actually get anything, even when I know I have enough points. I tried killing mobs, but I still can't get any more. Also, the reset only resets your powers, it doesn't actually give you back the points(at least when I tried it).
Have you tried a new world? My mistake, but until I added the commands I wasn't storing how much potential you've spent. Unfortunately, I just realized now that it doesn't reset when you do the command, so it will duplicate your potential every time you reset. Woops, I don't think anyone is really using the alpha version for real gameplay anyway, but I'll fix it in the next update. I'm unable to replicate the potential bug, did you do anything else before hand?
I created a new world and it's still doing it. I'm not sure what's wrong with it.

How do you get mega potential points? Are the dynamic events added yet or is it something totally different?

It was working for me when I was testing before release, let me check and I'll get back to you.
EDIT: And.... yep, only had it set up for blue lanterns. Fixed! I always forget to go back and enable things.

Honestly? Don't have a clue, working on it now.
In my game none of the armors render properly, or at all to be exact. I can see that they are equipped, but they don't show up on my character.
I'm not sure why that would happen... If a new world or restarting minecraft won't work, I'll release another update with the version I'm using in development when I get home from work, I can't replicate it on there and without an error being thrown or anything I'm lost. If anyone else has this problem let me know.
