Hermeticism is the practice of the three domains of wisdom - Alchemy, Astrology, and Theurgy - in which all matter and all studies within the universe can be categorized. Alchemy, under the operation of the Sun, is the study of all matter. Further, alchemy focuses on how this matter can be altered, created, and destroyed through the use of arcane apparatuses. Astrology, under the operation of the Stars, is the study of the relationships between the cosmos and the World; these relationships are used to find the influences the cosmos have, as well as how to control and use said influence to an advantage. Theurgy, under the operation of the Gods, is the study and practice of the two main types of magic - Black Magic and White Magic. Black Magic is the performance of miracles with the aid of demons, while White Magic is the performance of different miracles through the support of divine beings.
Hermetica revolves around the practices of Hermeticism. Using the three domains of wisdom, you will be able to vastly alter your Minecraft experience using the tools offered by Hermetica.
To begin in Hermetica, the first thing that is needed is the Hermeticist's Journal. This journal is of the utmost importance in relation to advancing in Hermetica. The Hermeticist's Journal is able to provide you with written accounts of your finings within the world, as well as serve as a place for recording these findings while out in the world. To craft a journal, simply place a book in the crafting grid.
The Hermeticist's Journal, as said above, serves as a written account of all findings one makes while exploring and researching. The journal is custom to each person, coming with the player's name on the title page. The title page also includes a Table of Contents, where all findings will be categorized under one of the three wisdoms of Alchemy, Astrology, or Theurgy. Note: The player name shown below is not of an account owned by or affiliated with me, but instead is an account Forge randomly chooses when working in the Development Environment of Eclipse.

Thanks for the support everyone! I was not expecting this many good words, it is very encouraging. Thanks! Regarding release date and such, I have no idea at all when Hermetica will be released, but "it'll be done when it's done." I don't mind people asking this, as it shows interest, but keep in mind that I really have no idea.
