Good for sleeping while mining. I agree it needs light, because sleeping out of nowhere is dangerous. Or you can make something like the Forcefield Bed that doesn't allow mobs to go near the sleeping player. Nice mod!

The 1.0.0 release for Minecraft 1.6.4 (should work with every 1.6.x version actually) has just been released!

not exactly.... it wasn't the AtlanticCraft's idea at all. it was an idea i came up with after watching a couple of their lets plays. since they alway carried a bed around with them, they always had re-spawning problems when on of them died.
Been follwing this since you first put up the topic waiting for the chance to try this out.Why isn't this in the game already? Great job though.
EDIT: Is there a config file? I don't see one in the configs folder.Because I'm getting an id conflict.
Not yet sorry, I personally completely forgot about that. We will release soon a 1.1 version with the config file. Meanwhile you should be able to change other mods' IDs, thanks for the patience

AWESOME !!! This is exactly what I was looking for, I'm glad someone finally made it. I always need to set up camp without resetting my spawn. If this mod stays just like this, I'd be happy, but if you plan on adding more stuff, I always loved a Morrowind mod like this, it also added some things you could put into minecraft as well: a campfire (cooks food), folding chair, leather barriers (easy to break by hand "fences" made of leather and/or wool to keep your camp safe. Maybe you could add a lantern as a portable light source. Anyway, great job.
A very nice mod for minecraft. Only thing, could you work on "closing" the sleeping bag again. I also made a mod review on german Hope my english isn't too bad.
Would it be at all possible to add in a config option that would allow sleeping bags to set your spawn? I want to use this in my Let's Play as an early way to change the time, but I'll probably be "camping" really far from my world's spawn and don't want to deal with walking back to the area.
