What's the plan for this upcoming update? such as a general progress toward completion (or eta). i'm super excited about being able to make some of the new tinkers weapons with the metallurgy metals with abilities.
Also, does the new voidmetal have any abilities? even just something like thaumium?
I'm going to put this in a spoiler so that people who haven't messed around with Voidmetal don't get any spoilers.
Voidmetal has warping, which means that when you hit someone with something made with Voidmetal, you give them a small amount of temporary warp. Plus, it has sapping, so it gives weakness to anyone you hit with it, as well as the ability to repair itself rather quickly
Quote from HatsyaSoujiSay, will the Metallurgy tool sprites be the same as most Tinkers' items? Or there might be a point of making molds out of RPG-ish designs of Metallurgy weapons someday?

Look at their snazzy designs, we can't let their designs go to waste. Who would want to make an Alumite Serrated Sword [refer to Adamantium Sword] (more cutting power against the living, lightly-armored things)?
I was thinking of making a resourcepack that would use those textures but I didn't get permission to use the textures.
As for the redpower jems, do they have the same ore dictionary as the Biomes o' Plenty gems? If not could you also put that on the todo list for future? would be neat to have them as unique modifiers instead of alloys though in my opinion, since there are way too many metals with the same mining level and durability when paired with metallurgy.
No longer will ExtraTIC be known as "the metallurgy mod" (most of my friends call it that), but as "THE BADASS MOD THAT MAKES EVERYTHING COMPATIBLE WITH TIC!"
Hello I've been really excited to try this addon as I'm playing with BOP n TiC n Metallurgy 4. But with as few as 17 mods I can't seem to be able to run this mod. I've allocated 1GB ram to forge n I'm on a 32bit win7 n have 4 GB physical ram. But whenever I place the mod n mods folder the game hangs on the 'Mojang' start screen n never moves forward after that. Can anyone help? I've started minecraft with more mods but just this one isn't working! Is it a bug or anything from my side?
ok first set your loader to continue to show during loading as well as the game running, second when it hangs look at the loader and see what it says probably sounds like the hang is in resources but wont know for unless you can specify where the hang is actually at, to do this its under edit profile and launcher visibility
Fossils and Archaeology Scarabs
Project Red Gems (If not planned already)
Clockwork Phase Time Temporal Ingots
Various metals from Falling Meteors
Galacticraft Metals (Titanium, Desh)
Erebus Jade
good idea! SUPPORT
I have decided to not add new materials for this release.

Not everyone has project red, and those gems are fairly common.
Oops! I meant to quote the person before me.

Mhm.
Awesome
but they won't fit the cast, that is the reason why I went with tinker style as they fit the cast.
Planned.

They wouldn't perfectly fit the cast but I think it would still look pretty good.
Also, vanilla tinker's tool parts don't always look that great.
But of course you would usually make your casts with stone tools because those are way easier to get.
yeah, but those parts are crafted in the part builder only (you don't use cast for them), so they can have a bit different shapes.
