i want to join as a modeler, my most successfull creation so far is the Sentry Guardian, from the Aether II
(proof: https://www.facebook...pg&size=960,614 )
i have a lot of fun modeling, and if i can, i would like to texture too
Hi. Nice ideas! Maybe you could consider adding crocodiles, komodo dragons, and vampire bats to the island, and add swordfish and anglerfish to the ocean? Otherwise, this mod will be good!
P.S: You do realize that hogs are the same thing as pigs, don't you?
If everything in the topic is included like it says, then this mod will go big. Must be a gigantic mod, but I am really confused with the island part. will it be like a dimension with a bunch of islands and then you can go underwater? I don't get how you can get all that stuff under water, will the water be super deep maybe, well anyways I'm really looking forward to this being released, maybe you could give us some screenshots to give us an idea how I will be like? Keep up the good work
anyways guys, i could help with texturing some blocks...maybe, i'm way more better at texturing blocks ! i kinda quit modeling, but whatever, anyways, i still model, but whatever...

i wish you liked it did you ?oh ! by the way ! i'd wish to help you texture OPAQUE blocks, that are NOT wood OR wooden planks,
example : stone, bricks, some kind of new sand, and even help in mob texturing !
Welp. I've been inactive. I recently downloaded Techne, though, and I'm watching tutorials, so I may try helping or start helping with models. Maybe. Not sure yet :x
Probably not much since the last time you or anybody asked. And I know you didn't ask me but I'm sure not much progress can be done in a minimum of a few days unless they started working their cans off. So, please don't ask so often or something? That's like asking all the time if a mod could be updated to [insert MCversion here]. Thanks.
Edit: Oooh! Models! Nice models, but some of them are quite big -For example the Iguana is like 5- 4 Blocks long and the frog + Sea pig is also pretty big to their real-life counterparts (It's not that bad with Piggie;) ) Maybe you should size them a bit down... (there is some button's for it on Techne) -Rubby4444
About the models
In the Code you can re-size Them.
Soo that's why when you want to code a very small Mob you model it big, for more details.
So, I'm back onto this thread, to make a few mob suggestions:
Seagulls: Peacefully flying near the coasts, these birds are here to spice up the atmosphere even more. However, they will eat any unlucky fish in their sight. If you hold out fish, then they will circle near you, then they will swoop down and steal your fish if you don't feed it to them. However, if you do feed it to them, they will be tamed, and follow you around. If you kill them, they drop feathers.
Taipans: A new species of snake, however, it poisons you instead of constricting you.
Komodo Dragons: Peaceful at first, these over-sized lizards will fight back if provoked. Their bite is weak, but it could poison you. However, they aren't that strong, so you don't have to worry about fighting them.
Crocodiles: As if snakes and Komodo dragons weren't bad enough, you also have crocodiles trying to get you. Similarly to snakes, these reptiles are hostile, but they are stronger, and are exceptional swimmers. However, they are slow on land, so try to not let them in the water.
Sea Turtles: Peaceful animals that swim in the ocean. In addition to adding even more atmosphere to the seas, they could go on land and walk on the beaches. They are shy and flee from the player, however, on land, they are unsuccessful in doing so, due to their slowness on land. If you feed them jellyfish, they will be tamed, and follow you around. If you kill them, they drop a shell, which is used for making a strong armor.
Angler Fish: Terrifying monsters of the depths, they will use their esca to lure any fish nearby, and then gobble them up. However, they are peaceful to the player unless provoked, in which this case will swim quickly to the player and bite them. They aren't that strong, but they are fast and frightening. If you manage to get a source of light underwater, they will be stunned, and forget about the player and go back to hunting fish. If you kill them, they drop raw angler fish.
I have a slight suggestion, how about making eels the "ocelots" of this mod. You would be exploring a reef and you see a colorful dragon moray (look it up) at the corner of your eye. You grab some raw fish and sneak, and it swims up. Now you have a faithful companion that can actually fight back.
Eel Species: (can be tamed and have varied stats)
Moray: The basic eel, have mild health and mild attack. They are tamed by feeding them crab meat and are found in rocky biomes as a common mob.
Dragon Moray: These are the second rarest eel, they have high health and high attack. You tame them by feeding them shark meat and they are a rare mob that spawns in coral reefs.
Gulper Eel: The rarest eel, these have extremely high health and extremely high attack. They glow in the dark and can only be tamed if you kill a wild gulper eel and steal its egg, so you can hatch it. They are found in the abyss as a very rare mob.
