again, progress has been really slow, mainly because we are having trouble coding some of the main features of the mod. what we need to do is code in the magic circle. it will basically work like this. you make the magic circle block, place redstone in a certain pattern around it. that will make it into a magic circle. after you make the circle, you right click it, and a gui opens up for you to place the items into it to make the monsters. then it has to spawn the monster. so just this simple magic circle needs to modify minecraft code, add new features, and add guis.
if we had someone who could do all of this, then progress would get much faster, as after that we would only need to start adding monsters and items, which i hear is much easier. so if there is anyone out there that could code something like this, and is willing to help out, then we could really use you. as i have said before, this mod has the potential to be up their with the aether and mo creatures, so it will really be worthwhile to help out in any way you can.
i just wanna say thanks to oracion38. he offered to help code some of the base code for my mod, and because of that we are gonna make some great progress. i thank him for taking time from pokecube and his other projects to help me. because of him my mod will finaly get made.

and yeah, this means we are finally gonna start making some real progress, and hopefully we'll be able to get as working mod out by the end of the summer. so just be patient guys, cause this mod is gonna become a reality soon
ok guys, i just finished the last model for the 2nd set of monsters. i was gonna add these in for the second update, but since i finished them so soon, they are gonna be added in the first update. so i added all the monster names to the list of mobs, almost doubling its length. so now you guys will have even more to expect, especially since oracion 38 is gonna help is get our core code done.
and with the adding of the new monsters to the list, we will also be adding some screenshots of them soon. so get ready.

Stop treating mod devs poorly. These people mod as a hobby or as a service to the community, they don't have to take your suggestion and you are not entitled to anything from them.
Some of those models look great, but some others look awful and have awful textures, also I don't like the way the Demon is a female, Demons show strength which means they are usually portrayed as a female.

a lot of the monsters are females, as i'm kinda rolling with the monster girl theme that is getting popular on the internet. i will probably add male versions later on, but for now its female. though there is a great demon, which would probably be more what you're looking for.
as for the model quality, i did change the alraune and harpy, as they were my first and they probably looked the worst out of the bunch. though in my opinion the others look fine (the dragon could be better, but thats covered as i made 2 other dragons, and they are really epic). plus, the models might look a little bad because i tried to make them look minecrafty, so they aren't as detailed as some other models, such as the ones of pokecube and mo creatures.
again, we are sill looking for people who can help code. though since we got someone to help with the core code, we can be a lot of accepting of coders, as now we'll really only need to do stuff like adding items, coding mobs, and so on. so if anyone want to help out, then it would be greatly appreciated.

so monster craft is on its way. i'm hoping we will have a first release by the end of this year, but it might come earlier/later depending on what happens.

ok, i got some great news. i found a guy who how can code for monster craft. but not only can he code, be he is able to teach himself how to do the more complicated code, such as gui's and stuff. so if it all goes well, he might be a good replacement for oracion when he has to leave. if all goes well he will be able to help with 2 extensions that i plan to add the monster craft some time in the future.
oracion is still working on the core code, though he is very busy with school and pokecube, so he isn't able to work on it much. however, i can give you a way to experience what monster craft might be like. many of the ideas and methods to do things in monster craft are very similar to that of pokecube. its even to the point where we might actually borrow some of the pokecube code in order to make the mod. the real time battle system, as well as the whole level up feature and collecting mobs is very similar to what monster craft will be like. the part with extensions and such that add other monsters will also be like monster craft, as i intended there to be a way for people to create their own extensions with their own monsters, so we can add to the experience.
so playing pokecube will give you a small taste of how the mod will play. though its not a complete example, as monster crafts mechanics are a little different, and there is gonna be a lot more added in terms of items, weapons, and other things like dimensions and npcs.
