There are two problems between me and getting 1.6 out, one being customs sounds, and two being the mob changes that have caused a lot of problems with Psychos and Marauders. I think what I'm going to do is remove Psychos and Marauders for the time being and re-add them at a later date, hopefully with some new features (better AI, better level system, BA enemies, etc). That leaves custom sounds and final testing as the only things I need to do before getting the update out. I can't say that there will be any new features, it's just mainly moving everything over to 1.6 (with it's many code architecture changes), which has definitely been a bit of trouble.
And sorry for the delay guys, as I've said before, these mods aren't the only things I work on, so they don't always get as much attention as I'd like to give them. That being said, when I do set time to work on them, I try to get as much done as possible.

Is There A Way To Add Them Into The Game Without Removing The Old Ones?
I do want to add something in the future that allows players to add their own custom gun/shield/grenade textures and be loaded up as normal when started (serverside of course), but I've yet to get around to it, so as of now, no, not without replacing any of the current ones.

Maybe the update after the 1.6 update, because it shouldn't be all that hard to add. It'd only need to check the folder for extra images, but I still need to figure out how I want to do it between server and client.

You should try to add randomly spawned towns or even houses with gun chests in them and more mobs, other than that great job so far

Finally fixed the no sound bug, so a 1.6 version should be extremely soon!
I just need to do some final testing to make sure all the features made the move to 1.6 unscathed, and then it should be ready.
The only changes are the obvious move to 1.5 -> 1.6, and also I'm temporarily removing psychos and marauders as previously stated, because 1. I need to fix all of their errors, and 2. I want to redo them, hopefully with some new features.
No promises, but I'm shooting for tomorrow as a release time.

Need to update my ice cream creeper mod now, and then next week I'm planning to do the MCP Modjam, so I'll probably start on new features again after that.
I've got weapon machines planned, I'm going to clean up some of the NBT data, possibly some custom sprite and such additions, etc. Hopefully the next update will be the big 1.0 for this mod.
