I don't play Borderlands, but can you add MG? I would have an MG than an SMG.
All those unused sprites seems like it's a spoiler for an upcoming update. What will the vending machine do, really?

Sorry about how slow this last update has been guys, really don't want to repeat the period of time from 0.0.4 to 0.0.5b, but I've been quite busy lately. As much as I'd like to work on this mod daily, I've also got an actual game I've been working on, and some irl stuff. I'll try to make some more time however. Already have added in a few achievements, which should be nice. The rest, unfortunately, has varying completion. With how long this is taking, I definitely want to make it worthwhile, so I'm definitely going to add both SMGs and Assault Rifles. Adding the weapons aren't really that hard at this point, it's just taking the time to make all those different sprites for each manufacturer and such. Thanks guys for your continued support however!

Most of the unused sprites are definitely going to make it in at some point or another. The vending machine, as previously stated, will hopefully be much like the one in Borderlands itself, where you can pay something, in this case it's going to be eridium, for items in exchange, like better weapons, shields, etc.
I have a question that I hope you can answer! I'm making my own mod and I don't know how to add different colors to the item's description . How did you do it?

You just have to add these symbols, under the code collumn. You can do it with any text in Minecraft, you just add it to the front of the text you want it to change. i.e. "§c§oFires as fast as you pull the trigger." would show up exactly how it does for Jakobs guns in my mod. However, if your ide won't compile with the § symbol, just replace it with \u00a7, i.e. "\u00a7c\u00a7oFires as fast as you pull the trigger." instead.

Thanks! I have having the compiling problem I'm so glad you helped me with the other way! Also Awesome mod! Can't wait for the next update!
If the vending machine uses eridium, then why is money exist in the unused sprites?

I don't think I'm going to be re-adding money. Like it says in the mod's preface, this is actually my second time building this mod. Originally I had money drop like ammo and there would be a money counter in the top left. There's no real reason NOT to re-add it, but I think using eridium in the sales will feel more Minecraft-ish. And plus eridium had to be used for the villager trades since they only take items, so might as well be consistent.

Started getting this error tonight on my WWM server. Would love to be able to find a fix for it as my players adore this mod, but we're getting crashes every 11 minutes with it now.

I'll take a look!
EDIT: I might have to update the mod, because line 150, where the error is coming from, is just an empty line in my current code, so it looks like it's all no longer lined up. I just can't seem to see where the nullpointer is coming from in that method. Best case scenario, updating will fix it, worst case, nothing will change and I can then correctly find what's wrong. Won't be much new in the update, since most of it's not completely done, but I'll probably keep small things like the test achievements and shotgun midgets.

Sounds good, I can easily get you a few error reports to show the error once 153 is removed. One of the nice things about having 50+ people on the server is they are damn good at breaking things hehe. I look forward to the update!

Should have 0.0.7b out in the next few hours. Just need to move everything over to 1.5.2, and then check that it's all still working correctly.
EDIT: May just keep it 1.5.1, because updating to 1.5.2 is giving me a bunch of icon errors that'll take more time to sort out than is probably worth, at the moment. The error your getting doesn't look like it's related to version anyways, so updating will still help with locating the problem. I've added a few nullpointer checks in the area you got the error anyways, so it's also possible that fixed the problem.
EDIT 2: Updated. Hopefully now if you get the error, I can correctly find it, and as with any update, if you find any new ones be sure to leave them here. I haven't fully tested the test achievements or the shotgun midgets, but they should work fine. I honestly can't remember if I left anything else small in.
Ok... I like this mod (As stated before).
But I ran into an problem.
Its not a BUG... but I still find it annoying
I went back to a world that didn't have the Borderlands mod... it was a village world.
I went back and almost all the trades I had unlocked... were replaced by borderlands trades.
I use villagers as a form of "Backup Plan"... should I die far from home, I have a sort of a kick start.
I think the trades should be implemented in a new villager that spawns (or bred from testificates).
He will have the Borderlands trades.
As for the trades.
I like the idea, but there needs to be a way to trade in Eridium for something else.
(I mean really... I already have an Echo Communicator... and over 5 stacks of the stuff already.)
So... a storage block would be nice, and more crafting for Eridium (Plus trades) would go far for that stuff... because right now I am jsut tossing it in lava to free up inventory.

Whoops, that's totally something I meant to fix, because it IS a bug. xD
I'm not replacing them with borderlands trades, it's just there are so many more Borderlands trades, that it's more likely to give them those. The trades are supposed to be much rarer.
Besides that, an eridium storage block is actually a good idea. I'll add them, maybe even for a 0.0.7c. Might not be today though, because I need to find a good rate for them.

KK Im firing it back up now with another server update. Ill know pretty quick if its still an issue.
Its also quite possible its another mod that caused the error we're running a rather large modded server

Well, be sure to let my know if you find anything! It was probably just, somehow, a marauder didn't get his gun stats, or didn't have a gun, but was trying to fire it anyways, causing the nullpointers. Doesn't look like there was much else that could be null in that area, so I just added checks to make sure he has a gun, and that it's received it's stats. If it's anything else, I'll at least be able to locate it this time seeing as you have the latest version of code since I updated the mod.
I have a question, is there a difference in weapon drop rates for passive mobs like cows, aggressive vanilla mobs like zombies and aggressive mobs added with your mod, like marauders?

Semi Auto shotgun spray into a crowd saved my *** when I got cornered in a village.]
Looking forward to the continued updates for this mod.
PS.
This is my favorite gun mod in all the gun mods I have seen...
keep it up.

I might just have to check out how the horse class after the update. I'm sure with a little fiddling...
