hi im just asking to see if the mob model and texturing job is still available as im making some mods for my own self I could texture the mobs and make the models don't let my name fool you im very sensible when I comes to mods

in other words can I plz help with the texturing with the fish
ARE you guys going to be changing the oceans as well or just adding mobs and such? I'm just curious since making oceans deeper and larger is a big thing for me and I would absolutely adore this mod if it had that feature.
we plan on making 2 versions of this mod. one will only add in one type on fish that is catch-able with the rod. it's for those people who want to stick as closely as possible to vanilla. the other version will add in all the mobs and items, and will ad generating structures to the ocean. we will probably make the oceans deeper once we get everything else working.
Now this is a mod I'm looking forward to! I've always found minecraft oceans, lakes, and rivers WAY too boring. The models look amazing, didn't think it was possible to make a fish look so good!
A couple suggestions:
Pelicans: They will circle around groups of small fish and swoop down and catch some fish, and if you can tame one it can go fishing for you, but have a chance that it won't give you the fish, or just give you half of it. Although this isn't a fish, it would just be kinda funny to have the ocean so populated, then look up at the sky and see nothing. So I think it would be pretty cool to have just a few creatures that help with the ocean feel of the mod.
Ducks: They spawn in ponds and lakes and will mostly float on the water and wait for small fish to come near them, then catch it. When attacked by either a big fish or the player it will jump out of the water and fly to a safer place.
Crabs: Similar to lobsters, just do more damage and can stay on land for a while.
So far, that's all I can think of. But if I have any more ideas, I'll tell you!
i dont want to add ducks because mo'creatures has ducks. this mod idea originally started off as a suggestion for that mod, so i want them to be compatible, and not add in too many redundant mobs.
i had thought of adding birds such as pelicans and seagulls, but i've decided that we need to focus on the sea life before adding in things that stray somewhat from the theme of the mod. someone has already suggested i work on making a separate mobs mod that adds birds. so if i we do that, then i think we would like to avoid adding any type of bird to the fantastic fish mod.
lastly, we do plan on adding crabs, even though mo'creatures just added crabs. we'll just make a different species of crab.

as long as you can contribute something new, then we've got a spot for you. we've got a couple texture artists and modelers who can get quite busy, so i think they would appreciate you lightening their work loads. we'd just have to make sure you don't do any of the models or textures one of them has set their hearts on doing themselves.

I was interested, but then it said "not stackable" which means storage problems.
So not interested any more. Too bad.
the odds are you'll have lots of fish of different sizes and types, so even if the fish could stack, they rarely would. if you want to store fish for food you can convert them all into fish fillets, which are stackable.

Please add piranhias ,barracudas,corals ,new shark types great whites ,bulls and tigers etc also dolphins!!!!!maybe more other types of fresh and salt water fish . Amazonian fish? Maybe sea turtle like the idea

I know Mo' has turtles and jellyfish already, but those would be a lovely addition.
Other water related mobs you might try out if you need more ideas are sea otters (watch the cuteness once they get a clam), mud skippers (also strangely adorable) and water striders (so the little fishies have something to eat/possibly bait). After/during a storm you could have a few fish show up in deserts, because fish rain is a weird yet cool thing that happens in real life.
