I've found 2 semi-prominent issues with the recent snapshot.

One is that the blue screen covering water effect happens when I'm wading through water.
I'd understand some water splashes, but not having my face completely covered in water with it sticking out of said water.
And I also get the blue screen effect when it's raining outside under a 2 block high roof, or could that be intentional?
My roof is wood, if that makes any difference.

EDIT:
Also, with the DirectionalHud, the effects render over it, rendering the whole thing aside from the red line invisible in the places the texture is.

That's a problem if you don't unzip the mod before trying to play it. It's a bug I've been having, but I haven't fixed it yet. That's why I released this as a snapshot.

Work update 4 me:
I've gotten a lot more of the environmental effects done. There will be an option in the config to turn them off, but then what's the point? School and work are on top of me now and I'm trying to get both done at the same time(not fun) and do my mods(which I love doing). In a week things should slow down for me and I'll try to update the mod to v0.3 and fix all the bugs. Thanks 4 support!

I'll check on the "under a 2 block high roof" part. Were you on a server at that time or single player?

The water overlay is being worked on as part of the environmental effects. Wading through water won't get you wet anymore. A variation of splashes is also being done, and may be in the v0.3 release.

I love it! Just one thing. I wish there was a option to disable the ice over the screen and same with the heat. Since my house is right next to a snow biome, I cannot really take the ice away without going to the nether or going creative and putting myself in some lava. I just hope the next update comes out soon so I might be able to warm up with a cozy fire

Drag the "EnhancedVisualsMod" folder that's inside the .zip file into the mods folder.

Also, I really don't like the "Ice" and "Heat" overlays, it's not that I don't like them overall, I hate that they are TOO noticeable, and get in the way very often. They should be harder to see, to the point where it's basically a red/blue vignette effect around the edges of the screen, but NOT the way it is now, it gets in the way too much.

The water overlay is annoying during rain, underwater is fine, but on rain, I'm as blind as a bat.
I can understand that underwater, trying to see with your bare eyes will not only damage them, but the vision will be blurry.
But when it's raining, I can still see fine without a problem!

Besides that, this mod is excellent, my favorite overlay is the blood effects when you're damaged.

Same for me too xD the blur cuts my fps in half but a lot of mods do that =/
