THE CURRENT PROBLEM: I dont like the water blurring, soo laggy, Can you just make 'splats' for the water blurr :L And the textures deload... Can you provide the config asap :/
IMAGE: http://imgur.com/HTA05f0
I've added a config with the ability to adjust the quality of blurs, or just turn them off altogether. Also, the ability to change the Theme Pack is also added, providing that you have a Theme Pack to install(soon to come).
What do you mean by "old"? Is there some new way to install at mod?
If your Minecraft crashes I cannot help you unless you post your crash report(IN A SPOILER) here. Most crashes come from people not following instructions.
I am aware of that bug, thank you for reporting it. It should be fixed in a real release.
I followed this installation o_o didn't work.. not even with other mods. Maybe it's forge idk.

also... installing jar mods alongside forge(cause forge no like optifine/jarmods)
if ur intrested cause:
"Sonicjumper, on 29 July 2013 - 11:53 PM, said:
What do you mean by "old"? Is there some new way to install at mod?"
jar mods for 1.6.2 refer to [Alternative install] for alternative method(quicker method)
i might mess up in summerising so that^^^ is there.
1: get the mod(s) that you want to install, put ALL of the contents of **(ALL)the mod(s) that would have otherwise gone into the jar
into one zip, change extension from (zip/7zip) to (jar)
**(they dont realy have to all be in one jar, just saves from repeating the later prossesses)refer to {one jar} for more details
2: Go to .minecraft/libraries/net and create the following folders: examplefile/examplefile/examplefile's version
you can name it whatever you want*(first two MUST be the same 2 my knowledge), just know that it should foullow this format:
*due to a bug in the launcher you may not use spaces while nameing ANYTHING durring this whole prosses "dammit cpw!!!"
Derpyjar/Derpyjar/v01/Derpyjar-vo1.jar when Derpyjar-vo1 is the name of your jar
(NOTE THAT THE [ - ] BETWEEN IS NESSASARY FOR IT TO WORK)
-youll need to remember(copy) the location of the file for the next part.
3: go to .minecraft/versions you should see a file named 1.6.2, copy&paste that file into the same place,
rename the file to whatever you want, youll have to rename the files inside to the same thing.
open the .json with a text editor(notepad) youll see some thing like this {"id": "1.6.2","time"...
change the 1.6.2 to whatever you named the files in versions, next
while still editing the json(the text file) find the text "libraries": [
immediatly after that(or after forge) paste this
4: (restarting your launcher is required @ this point if youve had it open)
set -Dfml.ignorePatchDiscrepancies=true in the jvm arguments of the profile you are going to use
EX: -Xmx1gb -Dfml.ignorePatchDiscrepancies=true
go into "use version" and select the one you changed the json(the text document) for.
and of course save the changes youve made.
asumming you were able to follow my shortend version it should work.
{after setting this up once you shouldent have to do this again, you can simply shove all your jar mods into the derpyjar-v01.jar
and they will be installed, however if you chose not to you gain an newfound ability to micro-manage your modding from the vanila client}
[pretty sure you can just direcly intall jar mods normaly into the jar inside versions/1.6.2,
please note that you will probaly still need to set -Dfml.ignorePatchDiscrepancies=true to use forge with your jar mods,
however this seems to be cleaner&easier for adding&removal of jar mods, so i recomend it]
notes:
this is a workaround origonaly intended for optifine&forge to work together for 1.6.2 scence forge refuses to use jars that have been modded.
it works with and without forge&optifine, if this helped i'm glad to have been of asistance,
if not please refer to the origonal thread for a more in-depth walkthru

mods folder optional location change
you can also change the location of the mods folder that one indevidual profile in the launcher will read from, also changes the saves,config,resourcepacks, and some otheres to same location, just open your launcher, go into "edit profile" and change the "game directory" to wherever you would want these files
This seems to be the case since I'm getting exactly the same crash report and I'm using Optifine, too.
Crashes are because some of the Theme Packs are missing textures. Once I get the default Theme Pack finished you won't get this anymore. For now, just set your Theme Pack(In the config) to either Sphax or Comic. If you set it to Comic, you also need to set your backup Theme Pack to Sphax. Sorry for the confusing workaround, but that's what happens when you are a professional coder, not a professional artist
So I recently Got this Mod It and it Works Great But all that i have noticed change is the Blood splatter on the screen and i would like to know what other perks this mod has.
So I recently Got this Mod It and it Works Great But all that i have noticed change is the Blood splatter on the screen and i would like to know what other perks this mod has.
The change log isn't quite going to explain everything yet. I'll write a detailed analysis of the current version(v0.3) whenever I actually release it. For now, I might decide to change something at any moment, so I won't be telling you all what is in the mod. Besides, the point is to make MC more visually appealing. If something happens in real life(like bleeding?) then I want to put it into the mod. That's where my community comes in; I need ya'll to tell me what is missing from the mod, may it be blurs, more splats, or some other environmental effect.
Ok, thanks for the advice. I set the Backup Theme Pack to Sphax and left the Current Theme Pack on DefaultTheme and apparently it works fine now.
By the way, this mod seems to be incompatible.
Thanks, I'll check it out. Might you describe how it is incompatible? It crashes, it flickers, etc.?

That would be the experimental cold and heat overlays. When in extreme temperatures, you will get that creeping up on your face. It makes for great realism when playing RPG castle conquest or the like. It should be harder to advance on a castle or base in freezing weather than in a nice sunny forest, right?
Right now the environmental system is very simple, only sampling the biome you are in and if you are on fire. However, soon I will add other ways to warm yourself up or cool yourself down, without adding items or blocks into the game. Currently the only way to heat yourself up is to catch on fire, and since that is quite detrimental to your health, I'll make it so you only have to be near a fire or a torch or be wearing leather armor to stay warm, and being near ice or being in the shade to stay cool.
In answer to your question, 'how to get it off', stay warm and wrap up tight kiddos(and wait for the update)!

Not currently, but that's what I'm working on right now.
I have yet to try your system, but it already sounds promising. I figured it'd have damage and life effects, but not environmental onesl ike temperature. That is a major plus in my eyes.
Do you have a post that includes the gist of effects? I can't find one in the first page, but that'd really be nice to see so I know what to expect, as well to offer any suggestions to the many you're already getting. ^^;

I'll be building a list whenever I finish the new version. It's pretty much done now. I won't release any more snapshots until the v0.3 release, which means I'll be bug fixing for a little while before release.
A huge part of this mod is expectation. If you think something should happen IRL, then it should happen in game, like water or eye flares(btw, don't look at the sun except in video games).
I've added a config with the ability to adjust the quality of blurs, or just turn them off altogether. Also, the ability to change the Theme Pack is also added, providing that you have a Theme Pack to install(soon to come).
Because if so, they don't work for me.
Great mod though!

Is there some new way to install at mod?"
referencing>>http://www.minecraft...mac-compatable/
i might mess up in summerising so that^^^ is there.
3: go to .minecraft/versions you should see a file named 1.6.2, copy&paste that file into the same place,
rename the file to whatever you want, youll have to rename the files inside to the same thing.
open the .json with a text editor(notepad) youll see some thing like this {"id": "1.6.2","time"...
change the 1.6.2 to whatever you named the files in versions, next
while still editing the json(the text file) find the text "libraries": [
immediatly after that(or after forge) paste this
{
"name": "net.Derpyjar:Derpyjar:v01",
"url": "http://127.0.0.1/"
},
replacing Derpyjar with the location of your jar with your mods in it using the same format
"net.examplefile:examplefile:examplefile's version",
save&close
4: (restarting your launcher is required @ this point if youve had it open)
set -Dfml.ignorePatchDiscrepancies=true in the jvm arguments of the profile you are going to use
EX: -Xmx1gb -Dfml.ignorePatchDiscrepancies=true
go into "use version" and select the one you changed the json(the text document) for.
and of course save the changes youve made.
asumming you were able to follow my shortend version it should work.
{after setting this up once you shouldent have to do this again, you can simply shove all your jar mods into the derpyjar-v01.jar
and they will be installed, however if you chose not to you gain an newfound ability to micro-manage your modding from the vanila client}

One jar
{after setting this up once you shouldent have to do this again, you can simply shove all your jar mods into the derpyjar-v01.jar (or whatever you nammed it)
and they will be installed, however if you chose not to you gain an newfound ability to micro-manage your modding from the vanila client. for each version you can pick and chose from the jars in libraries/net for the mods you want for that version by edditing the versions .json file to include the jars(mods) you want}
Alternative install-
[pretty sure you can just direcly intall jar mods normaly into the jar inside versions/1.6.2,
please note that you will probaly still need to set -Dfml.ignorePatchDiscrepancies=true (step #4) to use forge with your jar mods,
however the libraries/net method(the one that starts @ #1) seems to be cleaner&easier for adding&removal of jar mods, so i recomend it]

*the thread i found it on.
I use OptiFine and everything works okay.
Yep.
But I had a profile which only had OptiFine and BSM, no Forge.
Thanks, I'll check it out. Might you describe how it is incompatible? It crashes, it flickers, etc.?
// Surprise! Haha. Well, this is awkward.

Do you have a post that includes the gist of effects? I can't find one in the first page, but that'd really be nice to see so I know what to expect, as well to offer any suggestions to the many you're already getting. ^^;
