"The Minecraft Ascension Modpack's (TMAM) goal is to automate the world around the player, while also drastically changing the environment and creating new, harder obstacles through which the player must endure! It is compatible with the Technic Launcher."
Hello, and welcome to the Minecraft Ascension Modpack Homepage. After several technical mishaps, I am happy to (re)start the modpack and to finally get the ball rolling. The mod's goal is to eventually mass produce items, and takes many tech mods to do that along with keeping a traditional minecraft style. (Awesome parody btw) Best of all, these mods all have express permission of the owner to be used in the modpack. Think of it as tekkit+ or an alternate to FTB. Thanks for the support everyone.
TMAM HAS UPDATED TO 1.5.2!
I made a checklist for the next version of TMAM. It can be found here.
TMAM now has a GitHub Repository containing it's config files and other .txt files. Find it here!

Today we have the release of TMAM Beta 1.5 Prerelease. As before, it is a Prerelease as two of the mods are still MIA. This latest version brings several new mods, including the famed mods from powercrystals, and several new addons for your ComputerCraft computers, as well as an addon for Tinker's Construct, and another for the Hats mod!
I also have created a GitHub repository for TMAM, which includes the config files, as well as basic TMAM .txt files. With this comes an Issue Database, to submit bugs, and a wiki, which will be filled out once the pack becomes a little bit more stable. To submit bugs, see the "How to Submit Bugs" section of this webpage! Sadly, this will be the last release of TMAM for 1.5.2. Therefore, I will see you all in 1.6!
P.S. I recommend that you start a new world with this update, as many block, item, and entity Id's were fixed so they don't overlap! Don't cry to me about your losses if you do not heed this warning.
Changelog
*Note: This version is a Prerelease because Matmos Mobs and WRCBE have not updated, however, if they updated, they do not include world gen, they will be readded with no trouble.
*Note: I recommend creating a new world with this version, as many block/item/entity id's were changed. Don't cry to me about your losses if you don't heed this warning.

Fixed Incorrect Forestry ID's
Fixed and Changed Many blocks ID's to have correct ID's

I have been working on a new release of TMAM for MC 1.5.2. This will be the last release of TMAM for MC 1.5.2, as many mods will soon be updating to 1.6. However, i expect the 1.6 update will be long for mods, due to the addition of the resource pack system. I hope to have the last version of TMAM for
MC 1.5.2 within a week, and will look forward to seeing what things 1.6 brings!
27/5/13
I made a simple bug tracker on google drive. It's not the best however, so if anyone has any ideas, tell me about it! Hopefully this can help solve bugs quicker and easier. The links for them are at the beginning of the page!
26/5/13
Over 2 months since Mc 1.5.2 went public, TMAM finally updates to Beta 1.4*. The wait was long and harsh, but I promise you, the wait was well worth it! The file size is 3 times as big now, if that is any indication. 13 new mods are in TMAM, including the famed Gregtech, which makes IC2 much harder to play. Go download it below, and as always, have fun!
P.S. You may lose items by updating to this version of TMAM. I highly suggest making a new world!
P.S.S. I also would like to say goodbye to 3 different modders, jimeowan (Previous maintainer of Inventory Tweaks), Thunderdark (Previous maintainer of MFFS), and ScottKillen (Part of the EBXL team). We will miss your contributions to the modding community, and we hope to see you again!
P.S.S.S. On that note, we welcome Calcalvia, to take over MFFS, an excellent modder known for the Universal Electricity API, and Kobata, the new maintainer of Inventory Tweaks. Welcome to the TMAM family!
*Note: This version is TMAM Beta 1.4 Prerelease, as 2 mods have yet to update, however, they don't include world gen, so it is fine to play now and the mods will be added back once they are updated.
Changelog
*Note: This version is a Prerelease because Matmos Mobs and WRCBE have not updated, however, if they updated, they do not include world gen, they will be readded with no trouble.
*Note: This version of TMAM requires a new world, previous worlds will become screwed up, and you may lose stuff.
Additions
Added the following mods: (13 new ones!)
Applied Energistics
Bibliocraft
Biomes A Plenty
Diving Gear
LomLib
Equivalency
Gregtech
Hat Mod

Natura
Tinkers Construct
Thirstmod now has a different way of registering content packs, updated to fit such way
Updated License
Changed wording
Made Creative Commons License own text file.
Added new way to install TMAM by using MultiMC, details are in the readme.
Took over the world.
Fixes
Added Forge API to modlist (why wasn't it in there before?)
29/3/13
Well, I originally hoped today would be the day TMAM 1.4 Beta would become public, however, half of our mods still have not updated. So I added a checklist of all of our mods and how they are doing. Hopefully within the next few weeks a release will be out. (Sometimes I really hate railcraft's policy on waiting a week, but it has it's reasons...) Keeping looking at this thread!
12/3/13
Reminder, don't update to 1.5 tomorrow folks, your world save will become corrupt. I hope to have a 1.5 compatible from of TMAM out by the 29th. That gives mod authors 16 days to update. However, It could take longer or shorter for this to occur. Hopefully It works out! I also added a poll regarding the use of gregtech. I've played around with it a little and wanted to see if people were interested in it. It really adds on the IC2 and makes some cool new things possible like chemistry and fusion! Tell me what you think!
6/3/13
Made a quick bugfix with Extrabees. So releasing TMAM Beta 1.3.2 now. Anyone experiencing a crash with ExtraBees ticking should update to this version. Plus, new frames were added. MC has a prerelease tomorrow, so a TMAM release for 1.5 should be out within a month or so. BTW, anyone have any idea of how to contact Eloraam except from twitter? I don't have a twitter and I'm not wanting to make one (at least not yet) yet I'm wanting redpower in the modpack. (And it seems as if she has abandoned MCForums) Either way have fun in the latest release!
Changelog:
Updated ExtraBees so crash no longer occurs occasionally also new content!
Fixed readme.txt (had few errors in text)
Bugs: Forget to update ExtraBees version #.
2/3/13
Made a small update since 1.5 keeps on being pushed back farther and farther. This has no new mods, just updated ones, so some new content is added. Micro blocks is it's own mod now though so you will see that in the pack. Over 25 mods were updated, so check out Beta 1.3.1 now, install and download section below.
P.S: Also Cccable was taken out and will likely be in vanilla computercraft in the next update, it is currently in beta!
P.S.S: Also, I would like to have a shout out to Thunderdark, the creator of MFFS, as he has just dropped the mod and given control of it to Calclavia creator of Universal Electricity. Future versions of MFFS will support TMAM, however, copyrights may change, and MFFS may not be in the next version of TMAM. 1.3.1 has the last version of MFFS Thunderdark released, as I can not release the latest versions until I check with Calclavia. New changes are imminent for MFFS either way though, as Cal has already changed some mechanics I've heard. I hope to see a return from Thunderdark in the modding community soon, and let's hope I can get Cal's version of MFFS in the 1.5 release of TMAM. Wish me luck!
Changelog
Immibis Microblocks added (was in core before, now its own coremod)
Took out Cccable dut to a computercraft beta now including it in vanilla computercraft. Will be added in TMAM once out of beta.
Railcraft is now a .jar file.
Readme now has instructions on how to install the modpack if you have used prior versions.
10/2/13
I know, I know, I said there wouldn't be another update until MC 1.5, however, Beta 1.2 had some bugs, so I fixed them and found some new cool mods to play with. (Say hello to Forestry, Immibis' Mods, and Extrabees my friends) As usual, the download link for Beta 1.3 can be found below in the downloads section! If installing using technic launcher the custom ZIP url is also posted in the installation section.
P.S. Please support this thread by commenting, liking, or following!
P.S.S. Also, If you have photos or videos of the modpack please send them to me, I'd be happy to use them on this page!
P.S.3 Correct Install info is now listed in the Installation section!

TMAM Alpha 1.0 is now Release, in order to get to it, take this survey and you will then get an e-mail in order to download and install the modpack. You will need forge and a program such as Win-Rar in order to do this. This IS a manual installation and it will be for some time. The survey is available here.

Good and Bad News. Good news first. TMAM has entered it's public Beta, however, not all mods are in the modpack yet. (EE3 and Thirstmod) So I have listed this as a Prerelease. These two mods do not affect world generation so all Beta pack worlds will be compatible with each other. Alpha worlds are not compatible with Beta worlds! If you were not in the Alpha program, then disregard the previous statement. In other news, all Alpha downloads will be unlocked for Public Use, along with the new Beta release. Grab TMAM Beta Pre 1.0 for 1.4.6 below. As always, continue to post about anything comments/questions. Thanks and hope you enjoy as we start going public.
Changelog
Beta Pre 1.0
Note This is a Prerelease version due to EE3 and Thirst Mod currently not being in the modpack.
Additions
Updated Block IDs and Item IDs.
Added Secret Rooms Mod
Added Compact Solars
Added Nuclear Control
Added MFFS
Added Factorization
Added Omni-Tools
Added MAtmos Sounds
Added modlist.txt to comply with Factorization modpack requirements
Fixes
Changed So that Vanilla Biomes now Spawn
Word Changes in license.txt
Word Changes and Updates to readme.txt
P.S. Next Project is to get the remainder of the mods in TMAM, and to provide pictures!!!
You unfortunately won't have permission to include Thaumcraft in the mod pack. Azanor is only allowing FTB and AMCO to include Thaumcraft at the moment.

I know I hope to eventually include it, so that is why it is under the planned included mods.
Redpower 2 and Thaumcraft are probably gonna be the hardest to get permission to use. CovertJaguar is a pretty cool guy when it comes to asking permission to use his mod, and he lays down the requirements to ask plain and simple on the RailCraft website.

Very nice collaboration of mods you have here. I am quite excited for what this might become.
Also a couple of things I have to say. First, I would recommend putting the link to MCforge in this thread and/or in the readme file. And, in the license file you misspelled client.

Agreed, escpecially since Eloraam dosn't seem to be using MC Forums anymore, I noticed the Railcraft requirements on the wiki, but i've just been to lazy to ask so far.

Once again a Alpha release, so to access it, you must have Alpha permission. To get Alpha Permission, take the survey above.

Link to the MCForge mirror is in the main post now, and will be put in the readme. License also fixed, these fixes will be in the Beta 1.1 Release. Thanks!
