Yeah, AFreakingLemon, I'm not sure if you noticed, but I can't see much in those pics, I would suggest using a mod which removes underwater fog and retaking them with higher brightness setting, if not already on the highest setting. Also, with the style of Atlantis I was thinking more broken, old, futuristic technology spawning only in the ocean biome. Which is why I was thinking of adding another building block for it, well at least one.
Poetendo, that's fine, if you can't do so then we understand, we appreciate the contributions. The ones involving the config file will probably be fixed in one of the mod's upcoming updates.
Hmm, It's good, but it doesn't really give me the sense that I'll be exploring this place for very long, personally I feel the buildings should make the large ruins of a once large city, though ruins could be spaced far apart to give the impression of a large city, with ruins of the city centre, making finding the items as part of an adventure. With the blocks I thought of, I was thinking about maybe a library, though you have to find the historical records yourself.

To fix that, get some NPC villages and copy them onto your world (Maybe some desert ones) and then add your model and then just add on a few more bits and then edit it a little and it should be fine
tyranno66, the city looks good so far, I was thinking for the city ruins to be made of mostly broken Atlantean brick and broken stone bricks (I don't really think sandstone would be very appropriate) It is simple to fix, you can just continue using sandstone and retexture it appropriately to show what it would look like in game. Ofcourse you would have to choose two blocks (one to be textured as Atlantean brick and the other as stone brick) to make the ruins. For the original city in the ice age, I was thinking that it would be still in the ocean biome, being made of mostly Atlantean Brick, Stone Brick and Iron blocks (which in the ruins has since rusted away).
AFreakingLemon, glad you like the ideas, with the time machine idea I see where you are coming from, but I'm not really sure that limitations based on finding pieces in those times is necessarily a good thing in this case (though If you only need to do so once for each time period then it might work as a short distraction), also I don't if it can be done, not being a coder and all. As for the meeting of the prophecy, that might actually end up being part of the original mod, but I don't know, so I'll include it to the list anyway.
xXJurassXx, you really shouldn't put the same post up twice, also with the temple, I feel it's just a bit too alike the other two temples, so I would suggest trying out a differing design type.
Hi, i have no coding experiance but yet i would love to help work on this content pack with all of you. I have been wanting to see a terrorbird for quite a while as they were one of the saber cats naturel enemies and also they are pretty cool. Also i had an idea of a ruined jurassic park with dinos running around in it. I could work on new dino textures as i have a large number of books with their apperences.
Ninja_Narwhale, with the terror bird it is a bit difficult to differentiate from Gastornis, but certainly very possible. Colours aren't really the issue, the only animals on the list we could possibly know the actual colours of the animals are Latimeria and Raphus. With feathered animals we can have an educated guess at their feather colour, based on fossilised cell structures (from which colour is determined from the shape of the pigment structures) aswell as the feather structure itself.
If your a better texturer than myself, then I welcome you to attempt to texture mine.
one idea for the content pack is a metal crate with wheels for dinosaur transportation which can be used when your trying to tranport dinos at different time periods back to the present time and would have a texture of the crate in jurassic park original at the beggining of the movie where they were transporting a veloceraptor.

Tar pits would be an interesting aspect. It could be deadly like lava once you sink below your head. Also make it flammable so it can be used for traps and such. Maybe have a tool that can drain the tar and look for Dino remains. A collesuem structure would be cool too, perhaps those structures could be implemented? Like ancient people pitted man against dinosaurs, or just dinosaurs against each other. Have large holding pins and underground gladiator area with chests full of weapons and armor. Decorate the collesuem with skulls and other torches, when 1.4 comes out and if the frames are implemented, decorate with Ender Eyes or other rare items.

The anu temple ( there would be blaze and anu spawners in there )
And Atlantis ( again sorta )
That means that I'll be working qute a while
Just a suggestion: You should increase a little more the beak of the Quetzalcoatlus, making it sharper, like a sword.
Anyone who can help, give it a click and help them grow!
Nah I like the old-fashioned way
This isn't a mod. It's a content pack for the mod Fossil / Archaeology.
